Chapter 31

The ringing sound of my alarm woke me up giving me an actual headache...

I looked at the time and I was late..."god I don't feel like going to work today" I groaned as I fell on my pillow again

The night before flashed through my head...I need to talk to Kelly and tell her everything

I put my hair in a bun and headed towards my bathroom....After applying the shampoo...I gently rubbed my scalp and suddenly im lost in my thought....

His touch was still lingering on my skin...it was like its still there...he is still there

After a quick shower I was ready to go...I hopped in my car and drove to Kelly's home

I reached and knocked on her door impatiently

She opened the door quickly
"This emergency of yours better be more important than my work" she said as she sipped her drink which I suppose was martini...I didn't even bother to ask why so early

She stood beside the door gesturing me to come in....
"I met Cole yesterday" I said biting my lower lip...I saw her annoyed face turn into 'tell me everything' expression as she dragged me to her couch

"WHAT.HAPPEND" she asked
"I was walking towards the bar as I collided into him,he was wearing a black coat with white shirt...and god did he looked sexy" I said within a breath and gasped

Kelly's jaw dropped to the floor..
"U won't believe what he said to me...he told me why he ran away Kel...it was his sister....he told me that she died...but she didn't his mom told him that and a mafia who is apparently his enemy is keeping her..."

"My heart goes out to her Kel...she was sent into human trafficking...he had to run away to save her....he couldn't tell me everything becuz dad came" I said as quick as possible

Kelly gave me a judgemental look
"And u believed him" she raised her eyebrow
"Kel ik I shouldn't just believe him...but something tells me that he isn't lying.." I explained

"Something tells me that this is your first experience with men" she replied
"C'mon Kel I came here for your advice...idk what to do anymore" I signed

"And yes this is my first experience" I rolled my eyes

Kelly got up putting her hair in a quick bun and marched to her kitchen...
"Really Kelly...u think this is an awesome time for snacks?" I yelled from the couch

She came back with coke and snacks...
"I brought this for u becuz we r about to have a serious discussion" she said in a very serious tone

"Oh...kay" I replied raising my eyebrow
"Tell me..." she paused  "what do u feel when u look at him...do u feel butterflies in your stomach...do u wanna push him into the nearest wall or makeout or do u want him to lay u down in bed and l-"

"I don't- oh my god i don't feel any of these" I held my ears
"I just...Im happy around him...he is...he is so different uk...he looks scary but he is so sweet and caring...its like he is magnet and im attracted to him..and his lips his plump lips I wanna bite-." I paused looking at her

"Continue" she said in a serious voice

"When he touch me...its sparks all over my skin...ik that makes no sense but that's how I feel kel...And i don't wanna stop I wanna go on and see what happens...I wanna be there for him..I wanna be with him...I want him to meet u and dad...and go out with him...I used to imagine these things when he broke out of jail and ran away"

Kelly was carefully listening to all my love confessions...

"Gurl u love him don't u" she asked i thought  about it for a second....love its a strong word...when dad asked me I was speechless...becuz I do..I do love him I can't imagine myself with anyone else but him

I nodded..."uk...U can make it work if u work hard enough" she added

"U think so?"
"Yes"
"U think that dad will ever approve this" I asked
"He loves u and if he sees how happy u r with him he will"
I smiled...she really is my bff

We were sitting and eating the snacks when my phone vibrated...
I picked it up...
"Unknown number" I said

I picked up the phone
"Hello" I almost choked on my coke...
"Whoa who is it" Kelly came closer to rub my back
"Cole" I whispered
She was in shock and just sat there

"Uh...hi Cole" I said cheesy...wth is wrong with me
"Emily" he chuckled softly
"Where....how did u get my number" I finally asked
"Well...I may have kinda peeked at it when U gave me your cell phone in prison"
"U peeked at my number 5 months ago and u still remember it" I asked

"Okayy I kinda just...uk...memorised it" he said waiting for my response "sorry" he added...Kelly gestured me to put him on speaker

"Uh...no its okay..im glad u did" I smiled
"We didn't get to talk last night"
"Yeah" I replied
"Do u maybe wanna...go somewhere with me" he asked...I could sense the nervousness in his tone

"It doesn't have to be a date if u don't want it to" honestly I was dumb founded I looked at Kelly for answers

"WHAT" she came closer and whispered in my ear wide eyed

"Uhh...A date it is" I blurted
I swear I could sense him smile from the other side...tbh his laughter was so enchanting to my ear...his smile was something else

"Where do u wanna go" he questioned after a pause
"Wherever u wanna take me" I said
There was a brief silence

"I was hoping u would say that" he confessed
"I wanna take u to my place"
Kelly gave me resting bitch face..ughh this girl

"Your mum's place?" I asked scratching my head
"No...my place...my home" He said
"Okay" I replied not judging him unlike Kelly
"When can I pick u up" he added
"Uh...tomorrow maybe"

"Okay tomorrow at 6"
"Ok" I grinned
"Okay then...bye" he said after a pause
I cut the call

Kelly looked like she was holding a breath
"SERIOUSLY GIRL"
"What" I asked
"Ur going on a date with him" I know a lecture was coming

"Ik Kelly im jus-"
"In his house" she added
"Who takes a girl to his house on a first date" oh my god this girl...I signed
"Kelly he may have something in his mind okay he's not gonna make me eat dinner at his house" I said folding my hand

"Im sure" I looked away... I wasn't
"And even if he did then what's wrong I wanna spend time with him wherever he takes me okay?"
She rolled her eyes at me
"Now help me choose what im gonna wear"
