Bakugou Katsuki's POV

Zero hid his chagrin behind a face of stone, only letting himself know the puzzlement he was facing. A proposal? From the Heroes, it could be nothing good.

"Taking into consideration this...history of yours, our immediate ideas were to put you in jail. Tartarus, most likely." Snipe's mechanical voice was blurry through the mask he still wore, but to Zero every word was terrifyingly clear.

Tartarus. A state of the art fortress like jail for the criminally insane, reserved only for incurable cases, the worst of the worst. It was the domain of the deranged, and in all the three and a half hundred years its walls had been standing not a single soul had ever escaped. Alive, that was.

Every self respecting Villain knew about it. It was the place the Heroes would send his Master, if ever they caught him. It wasn't just a prison, it was the prison. 

Against his will, Zero felt his blood run cold.

"But then upon closer inspection, we concluded that you couldn't even be a legal adult yet. We realised that we couldn't send a child somewhere so evil, so we found an alternate solution. One especially suited to you." Said Vlad King.

Despite himself Zero found this reassuring to some tiny degree. What would they do if not throw him in a prison? Choose another, more forgiving one?

Zero shook those thoughts off, realising how irrational he was being. He was a murderer, with a kill count of eight hundred and seventy nine.

He knew this number off by heart. He'd never forget the lives he'd taken, the people he'd sacrificed in order to claw his way to the top. Not with his permanent way of remembering.

But just like he'd never be able to ignore the casualties he'd caused, neither would these Heroes, or the rest of society for that matter.

They wouldn't spare him any mercy, they'd just find some other form of punishment, one that the people wouldn't frown on as much.

But...What could that be?

"With great pride, we are almost ready to announce the beginning of the Young Villain Rehabilitation Programme, or YVR for short!" Burst out Nezu, suddenly appearing from the depths of Aizawa's scarf.

Zero stared at the bear blankly. They wanted him to be part of a Rehab, to do what, reform him?

"This way, we'll show you how us Heroes see things and you'll learn the true cruelty behind your actions!" The rat continued happily, as if he'd just revealed the meaning of life. "Better yet, you'll be doing it at my own school, UA High!"

......What.

Zero's incredulous gaze jumped from one person to another. Each face was as drawn and sober as the others, but most importantly, dead straight. They couldn't be serious though, unless they wanted their students to be murdered.

He was an assassin, a convicted fugitive. Not to mention Zero was a confirmed member of the League of Villains and had publicly shown up in numerous crime scenes, including ones involving Class 1-A. And yet these teachers wanted him to go to school with the people he'd been tasked to kill?

He was the one who fought and beat up those UA students at the USJ, he was the one who orchestrated the break in to UA itself, when the day plans and files were stolen by Shigaraki!

And these impossible people wanted him to join them in learning to become a Hero, the scum of this world?

They thought he would what, bend to their will and become a perfect little weapon once more, after all they've done to him?
