Demi's PoV

I shook her body, her frail limp body.

"Come on, wake up."

I pulled her into the bathtub and turned on the cold shower.

I splashed the water onto her face, slapping her lightly.

"Wake up, wake up, please."

I stuck two of my fingers into the back of her throat.

She threw up some of the pills but it wasn't enough, she took so many.

I ran to get my phone, I dialled the number, 911.

"Please, my little sister took an overdose, she's not waking up." I cried down the phone.

I gave her the address, I opened the door when they arrived.

I watched them as they took her, my baby sister.

The flashing lights, the sirens, my cries.

I sat in the ambulance with her, holding her hand.

She had tubes in her, an iv in her arm.

We arrived at the hospital, she was rushed into a room.

They left me standing outside, bewildered.

I watched through the door as they pumped her chest, making her breathe.

I was finally allowed in, after waiting for hours.

I walked in and stopped, she was so broken.

She had a tube in her throat, pumping her stomach.

Wires coming out of her.

Her broken frame just lay there.

I held her hand, not letting go.

I fell asleep at her side, tears running down my face.

Sophie's PoV

Pain.

That's the first thing I felt.

I tried to open my eyes, but the light was too bright.

My eyes squinted as I looked down.

I was in a room, in a gown.

Demi was by my side, she cared.

She was holding onto my hand.

I squeezed her hand, making her look up in shock.

"Oh my gosh, baby girl, never do that again. I thought I lost you." she cried as she hugged me.

I couldn't speak, my throat hurt too bad.

Demi wiped tears off of my face, tears I didn't realise we're falling.

"I love you." Demi told me.

I was released the next day, after promising I would talk to a councillor.

I didn't leave my room, I stayed in bed most of the day, I was too exhausted.
