The voices.

How they teased me.

Everything I did.

Scrutinised.

Demi said she hates you.

Stop it, she would never say that, right?

She told us.

I hate this. The feeling hopelessness.

The impending feeling of doom.

Creeping up to me.

Demi called you a needy little freak.

I rocked back and forth on my knees, my head in my hands.

I let out a scream.

"STOP IT." i yelled at the voices.

They managed to drown me out.

Listen up chubby, you can't stop us or Demi from hating you.

"Sophie? Are you okay?"

It was Demi. She was banging on my locked door.

"Go away." I screamed.

She was probably coming to insult me, call me fat.

Mock me like she did when we were younger.

"Soph?"

I looked up, how did she get in?

The door was locked. How did she get in unless the voices gave her the key.

They were all working against me, planning things together to hurt me.

She came closer.

I scurried farther away from her, trapping myself in a corner.

"Stay back!" I yelled putting my hands up to block my face from her wrath.

She edged clser, causing me to scream out.

"DONT HURT ME."

She didn't budge, her eyes looked evil.

She's going to kill you any second.

The voices told me of her plan, I had to run.

I scrambled to me feet, my eyes filled with terror.

I tried to plan a route around her, there was no way, she was blocking the exit.

I ushered closer to her, trying to get past.

She raised her arm at me.

I flinched backwards.

My fight or flight system kicked in, but I was tired of fleeing.

I hit her.

Pushed her backwards and away from me.

She fell, hard. Onto the floor

She let out a scream of pain.

I was frozen, momentarily.

She's coming for you now.

I ran. Ran and hid. In a closet.

I sat in the bottom. Rocking back and forth.

Blocking my hands with my ears.

"One...two...three...four" I counted, counted along trying to stop the voices.

To stop the impending thought that Demi was on her way to kill me.

I had to do it first.
