CHAPTER TEN✨

Neil came out of the classroom. Kiara was waiting outside.
"Neil. Let's go to canteen" Kiara said holding his hand.

Neil dragged his hand away.
"I have to study for test. " He lied
"Test.. Stop lying. I know you, You won't study instead you'll party with your friends" She said adamantly.
"If you know, Why are you asking?" Neil shrilled.

"Neil. Why are you being so rude. It's okay if you don't want to come. I thought we can become good friends. It's your choice"
Kiara said and walked past him. Neil looked at her retreating figure and moved his head down.

"Ayush. Hey" She joined him.
"Hi" He replied back
"Tomorrow, a fair will be held. If you don't mind, will you please accompany me"

Kiara looked at her friends for an answer. They gestured her to say Yes.
"Yes sure" Kiara said.
"Great, Thanks. I'll call you tomorrow"
Ayush went.
"Best time to propose him. It's a date" Preeta hooted.
"Ssh. People are looking at us" Kiara hushed her.

Kiara did makeup and overdressed.
"My first love Ayush Aggarwal. I never dreamt someone as my friend, as my life partner. You are special, I love you Ayush"
She said to fictional Ayush.

"Kiara. Ayush is calling you" Roshni came to inform her.
Kiara adjusted her hair bun.
"Okay?" She asked them
"Ya" They wished her good luck.

"What took you so long?" Ayush asked

"Nothing"
Ayush chuckled "Relax. We are not going to wedding"
"Oh! Am I looking that bad?" Kiara made a puppy face.
"No no. I didn't mean it like that. You are looking beautiful as always"
They both smiled at each other.

Kiara and Ayush enjoyed themselves in the fair.
"Ayush.." Before she could speak, A girl interrupted her
"Hi Ayush baby" The girl greeted him seductively and hugged him.

Kiara looked at them confusingly.
"She is Riya my girlfriend" Ayush introduced her.

"Riya..this is Kiara my college friend"

Kiara's heart was shattered into pieces. Her first love was gone. Kiara made an excuse and went back to hostel.
"Kiara. You came early, Why..Why are you crying?"
Preeta cupped Kiara's cheeks.
"He has a girlfriend. I..I lost my first love" Kiara sobbed
"If your first love is true, you will not lose it"
"He doesn't love me. I'll have to forget my love. Mistake is mine, I considered him more than friend. I never grew so close to anyone in my life and fell for him"
"I know it's tough but slowly you'll forget him. Accept Ayush as a friend " Preeta consoled her.

"I am sorry Kiara" Neil said.
Kiara stopped near her class.
"For what?"
"For behaving like a stupid"
Kiara chuckled "You are stupid. I forgive you"
"Kiara. After class, I want to meet you at the auditorium"
"Yep" Kiara said as she entered her classroom.

Kiara went to the auditorium, Neil was fiddling the guitar strings.
"Hey what's the matter?" She asked
Kiara kept her bag on the stool.
"You are a good singer, thought I could learn music from you. Will you teach me?"
"Me.." Kiara scoffed "okay"
"I have written a song. Have a look" He showed his diary
"Well. It doesn't have the feel. I'll sing a song for you. Listen to it"
Kiara adjusted the mic.

On her way, Kiara collided with Ayush.
"Sorry" She dodged him
"Kiara. Is everything okay? I asked Roshni, she didn't have fever last night"
"I guess you were busy with your girlfriend"
"No Kiara. You could have joined us. It doesn't matter who I was with?" Ayush said.
"It matters.." Kiara paused for a second and left.
