Hikari POV

It's been a day since Zuko saved me, and even though we haven't talked much but the atmosphere around us is calm. It always seems to make me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I currently stand at the head of the table next to Iroh and Zuko as we drink tea together.

Iroh pours him another cup, "See Zuko, a moment of quiet is good for your mental well-being."

Before he could sip this tea the ship shakes, causing it to spill on him. Walking on the deck we see a dark hair woman riding on a furry animal.

"Get back, I'm looking for a stowaway!"

Zuko speaks up, "There are no stowaways on my ship."

The furry animal bites the metal off the deck of the ship, throwing it over us. It then digs his head in the ship, a man runs out of the hole. Only for the animal to use his tongue, paralyzing him in the process.

Zuko stares in aw, "He's Paralyzed!"

The give walks over and picks him up, "Only temporarily. The toxins will wear off in about an hour. But by then he'll be in prison and I'll have my money."

Zuko then ask, "But how did you find him on my ship?"

"My Xierxu can smell a rat a continent away."

Iroh grins at her, "Well, I'm impressed."

With that, the girl leaves as Iroh continues to stare at her, "Very impressed."

I chuckle at his comment while Zuko gives him the look. I think for a moment, "Zuko, are you thinking what I'm thinking?"

He looks at me and nods, "We'll leave in an hour."

I nod, returning to my room, packing my bag I pick up the egg. It hasn't cracked since I drew my flame close to it. I've been keeping it warm, letting it rest on my pillow or on my new clothes in my bag.

Creating a white flame in my palm, I pull it close to the egg, it starts to shake and crack once more.

"Hikari! It's time to go!"

Drawing out my flame it stops shaking again, along with the cracking like before. Smiling a bit, I gently place it in my bag, clothes, and money still present. Closing the bag I meet up with Zuko and Iroh as we head out to find the black-haired bounty hunter.

During our search as night falls we notice a bar, the animal she rode before laying next to the door. Walking behind Iroh, I stand next to him as Zuko takes charge.

"I need to talk to you!"

"Well, if it isn't my new friends, Angry Boy, Uncle Lazy, and the White Maiden."

Iroh laughs at the names while I smile, we watch as she wins the arm wrestling match, making the crowd cheer and rain money on her.

"Your beast damaged my ship! You have to pay me back!"

She collects her money, "Well, I'd love to help you out, but I'm a little short on money. Drinks on me!"

The crowd cheers, he grabs her wrist, "Money isn't what I had in mind."

Walking outside he holds up a blue necklace, "I need you to find someone."

"What happened? The White Maden dumped you so you're going for your next fling."

He and I ignore her comment, "It's not the girl I'm after. It's the bald monk she's traveling with."

"Whatever you say. If you find them, I'll consider the damages to my ship paid for."

"Ha! Forget it!"

I step forward, "What he means is, we'll pay."

Iroh continues, "Yes, your weight in gold!"

She steps in front of him, "Make it your weight, and we got a deal."

He laughs, "You got it!"

"Get on! And Angry Boy, make sure you hold your girl tight."

My face heats up at her words but I remain calm as we get on, then we're off. As we ride, the day breaks, leading us to the mountains we meet an old lady with a white cat.

"The Avatar's been through here, lets keep moving." We continue this pattern for a while until we make it to a sanctuary for women.

"We're getting close."

Waiting a little while longer we finally corner the two Water Tribe members.

Zuko get's down, "Where is he? Where is the Avatar?"

"We split up. He's long gone."'

"How stupid do you think I am?"

"Pretty Stupid. Run!"

The water tribe boy grabs his sister and runs but they didn't make it far as the furry beast paralyzed them.

Zuko asks, "What are we supposed to do now?"

The animal grows closer to them, "It's seeking a different scent, perhaps something the avatar held. As we put the siblings in the back we return to the sanctuary, Aang comes flying down. Resulting in us falling, but the black-haired huntress goes after him only to get pushed by Appa.

Zuko stands to face him, as they battle, I watch from afar, worried for both as Zuko and Aang get pushed on the roof. Zuko soon wakes up and so does Aang as their battle continues. I then notice the water bender push the perfume on the beast, hitting Zuko, and the girl I quickly catch Zuko before he could hit his head.

Finding a bottle, I make Zuko and Iroh sniff it, helping them get up I look around at the angry ladies of the sanctuary. Giving them a sleepish smile I bow, "Sorry for the damages."
