AFTER THE BREAK-UP WITH TRAVIS, ROSALIE'S THOUGHTS WERE FILLED WITH CODY. it had been a week since and she still hadn't told cody that she and travis had decided to break up. this also meant she hadn't told him just how confused she was about her feelings for him. the last thing she wanted to do was give him false hope, she wasn't even sure if a relationship was what she was looking for with him or what he was even looking for with her. all rosalie knew for certain was that she was definitely attracted to him. seeing the way he acted with lily warmed her heart. she admired the kind of father he was, and hearing that he was baby-proofing his apartment did things to her that she couldn't quite explain. she just found it extremely attractive how responsible and loving he was. especially after their past of when he found out about her pregnancy. she, of course, didn't forget anything that happened, but then again, how could she continue to hold a grudge when he continued to prove that his thoughts back then were no longer his thoughts now? she knew he was trying his best which is all either of them could do.

rosalie's eyes focused in on watching cody play with lily. lily was crawling after a ball while cody sat on the floor watching the young girl with admiration in his eyes. rosalie stood in the kitchen with the same admiration in her own eyes, feeling her heart rate speed up at the way he looked at their daughter. a small smile formed at her lips, "did you want coffee or orange juice? or something?" she asked curiously and he shook his head, "no i'm okay. thank you though," he grinned. rosalie nodded her head in a 'of course' manner and grabbed lily's baby food which rosalie was slowly trying to get her to eat. the young baby had just turned six months a week ago and rosalie had read online — and with the help of her mother — that six months was usually a good time to start weening her away from full on breast-feeding. rosalie started by trying to give her baby food and water, but still occasionally breast-feeding.

rosalie walked over to cody and lily and sat down next to him, "what's lily going to be force fed today?" cody asked, earning a small laugh from rosie. "today it's going to be sweet potatoes and corn," they both made a disgusted face, "i know, disgusting, but she had strawberry banana this morning and i would feel like a bad mom if i didn't also give her vegetables." she laughed softly. cody smiled and nodded in agreement, "i wish you all the luck trying to give her that."
