Chapter 1

It was a beautiful sunny day, Naira sleeping on her bed.

"Naira, beta get up! It's 7, please get up na!" Naitik said waking her up

"What? I am getting late for the university! It's my first day, I can't be late!" Naira said getting up.

She got ready and left for the university

"Arrey, she forgot her file and ID card! Naitik beta, go and give her na!" Choti maa said Naitik

Naira's POV

As I entered the university I saw Tanvi, my best friend standing there

"Hey Tanvi! How are you?"

"I am fine, you say?"

"I am great! But wait, I forgot my file and ID card! And I am late, the watchman won't let me enter!"

"Forget about the watchman, there is a new strict professor in our university, even if you go inside, he will ask you about it!"

"What should I do now?" I asked panicking

As I was returning in a hurry, I bumped into someone, but he caught me, I closed my eyes tightly in fear of falling.

"Oh god! What kind of a professor he is, just because I bumped into him, he gave a big lecture! Tur tur tur!" I say to myself and go to the class

"Where were you yaar? Thank God you came before the professor, or else he would haven't spared you."

"Don't ask! While coming, some professor bumped into me, and he gave a long lecture just for that!"

"Who was it?" She asked as I sat next to her

"I don't know yaar! But whoever it is, I don't like him! Such an angry kind of man!"

"Good morning class!" The professor entered

"WHAT??" I said the moment I saw him

"No no Naira, it's just your thinking, it can't be him, please not Kartik! I guess I am overthinking!" I thought to myself

"Omg! He is so handsome Naira, agar aisa professor ho toh padne mein mpbhi mazaa aayega." Tanvi said staring at him

"It is Kartik! Why is he here? He is my Professor? Oh no! What should I do now?" I was lost in my thoughts

"So class, I am Kartik Goenka, and I am your professor. So let's start with the attendance!" He said

Kartik's POV

I was taking the attendance, and I saw Naira's name in it! I was shocked to see that name there.

"Naira!" I called out

"Present!" She answered, I looked up to see her, but couldn't find her.

"Is it my Naira? No no, Kartik, she is not your Naira! We are not the same Kartik and Naira! And I don't even think she is in Udaipur." I thought to myself

I took the class and went out

"Me and Dad, just came from Mumbai yesterday, because I wanted to join this University, but now I don't want to continue in this university, because of Kartik! He left me when I needed him, he didn't trust me, he just left me. I will never forget this!" I said myself as I reached my house after college

"Princess, how was your day?"

"It was fine! I am really tired."

"See, who came back?" Dad said pointing at Kriti bhabi

"Bhabi, where were you?"

"I know you came yesterday, I was in my home, when I got the news that you are back, I came back too!" She replied, and we both went up

Our family just felt so incomplete without you and papa! And also remember that I was close to you before I got married Naksh, our bond will not break for anything! I trust you so much." She said hugging me

"Bhabi, I don't want to continue in that college! Please, tell dad."

"Naira, attend it for a week at least, then decide!"
