Chapter 3

Naira went to the Dean's cabin and saw Kartik seated there

"Today I will give this leave application and go! I can't continue in this college anymore." She thought

"Mr. Kartik, just give me a second, I will talk to Ms. Naira and then I will be back to you!" The Dean said

Naira and Kartik were staring at each other continuously

"See how much attitude she has! Yesterday, because she didn't know the answer to my question, she left the class, in the middle, and now she came to attend it again!" Kartik thought

"Kartik, I know what you are thinking, but before you think, why I left the class in the middle, think about the reason! You never gave me the chance to justify myself, even when it came to Shubham's death, and today also you won't!" Naira thought to herself

"Thank you Sir! I will come later." Naira said and went out of the cabin

"Now, I will not leave this college! Why should I leave the college? And I am sure he is talking about me only to the Dean! To remove me from the college, but who is he, to remove me from this college? This is not his home, that he removes me from here also!" She thought, but suddenly realised the moments, when she was told to leave the house, because she was blamed for Kartik's brother's death!

Naira walked into the class, and as she was walking, she bumped into Kartik and her books fell down, she picked it up! They both shared an angry look, and both of them at the same time threw the books on the table in anger

This made them share a look, and he started the class!

"Good morning class! So, sorry for leaving the class in the middle yesterday! Our class shouldn't be affected by people like Naira Goenka." He said but soon realised what he said

Everyone shared looks and Naira widened her eyes and looked at Kartik

"Sir, it's Naira Singhania! And she had some emergency.......!" Tanvi said but got cut off

"Okay, let's continue with the class!"

"So many things changed in these two years Naira! Your name from Naira Kartik Goenka, it is Naira Singhania? I said you to leave, and you left? You never cared about my family or me! Right?" Kartik thought to himself as he saw Naira

"Okay, so class, your tests are coming near! And remember that textbook learning is not the only thing, practical life and real life, is very different!" He said looking at Naira. "Now, you can see, in English textbooks, there is so much written about love! But love is not true! It's nothing but a betrayal! Love doesn't exist!" Kartik added

"He is doing all this to taunt me! Continue Kartik! Your words don't affect me anymore, you never trusted our Love! I can't help it." Naira started thinking

"Naksh, please talk to dad once! It's been 2 days since dad and Naira are back, and yet you haven't spoken to him! Why?" Keerti said Naksh

"I am happy that my sister is back, and I am more happy to see her happy, after what all happened!"

"You are still upset with dad! What was his mistake?"

"It was never his mistake Keerti! I am not upset with him. I am just busy with work!" Naksh said doing his work

"You think he doesn't care for you? He only cares for Naira? No, Naksh! If you think that, you are wrong! That was the time, when Naira wanted someone with her, and dad went with her, but now he is back right! Then what is the problem?"

"There is no problem Keerti! Leave this topic!"

"And you know what? Now, dad is in the hospital! He fainted, when he went to drop Naira! I don't know why, but he is in the hospital now!" Keerti said making Naksh shocked

Till then Naksh gets a call he attends it and enters the room

"Who was it Naksh?"

"We got the Project Keerti! I am so happy, I am going to inform this to dad!" Naksh said in excitement

"The project, which you wanted from so long?"

"Yes! I am soo happy Keerti! I am going to dad, come with me! I need to give him this good news!" He said making keerti happy

They both go to the hospital

"Naksh!" Naitik said in excitement

"Dad, I am sorry for everything, please forgive me! I know I am not worth it, but please forgive me!"

"Nahi beta! Parents can never be upset with their children! And why is my duggu so happy? Something happened!" He asked looking at Keerti, to which she nodded

"Yes dad! The project that I was wanting from soo long, I got it today! I am just so happy. All this was because now my family is back, and everything is fine!"

"Yes beta! And it was your hardwork too! I am proud of you beta. Keep it up!" Naitik said hugging Naksh

Keerti stood there, adoring the cute father and son bond, which she missed these 2 years!
