Chapter 2

Naira's POV

"Why Kartik? Just why? Why didn't you trust me? You just left me alone when I needed you. I was blamed for something which I never did! We are not the same Kartik and Naira now, only because of you! I will never forget this Kartik, never! I was all alone these 2 years, only I know how painful they were for me! You don't care about me, because you hate me! But Kartik, I missed you, I miss you so much!" I say myself as tears stream down my eyes

"Naira, what happened, why are you crying?" Bhabi asked

"Nothing happened Bhabi, I was missing mumma!" She nodded and went

Kartik's POV

"Why can't I stop thinking about her!? Because of her, my brother is not with us today! Why did she hide his condition? Even after she knew that, it is bad, and it is going to affect him, yet she didn't say anyone about it! Why Naira? I will never forgive you for this! Never!!" I say throwing down everything around me

The next day

Naira's POV

I get up and go for college

"Hey Tanvi, Whose class do we have now?"

"Kartik Sir."

"Not again! I don't want to see him, how will I spend this one week?" I thought.

"Accha, you go, I will bid my dad, bye and then come." I say Tanvi and she leaves

"Bye dad! And take care of yourself, I will come home soon." I said hugging him.

"Beta, you are getting late na! Now go, and take care Princess. Love you!" He says kissing me on my forehead

"Love you too." I said and went

Author's POV

As soon as Naira went inside, Naitik saw Kartik going inside the class

"What? Kartik is also here? Naira didn't say anything to me! My princess, what will she be feeling if she sees her! They all hate her, especially Kartik, and she was blamed for his brother's death! Already my daughter has gone through so much, I can't let her suffer more." Naitik said as he was breathing heavily.

Suddenly he fainted thinking about her daughter.........and many people gathered there.

"May I come in?" Naira said standing near the door.

"Naira! So she was the one, who I called out yesterday. So she is my student haan." Kartik thought to himself shocked seeing Naira.

"Late comers have no place in my class." Kartik said angrily

"But I am just 10 minutes late......!" Naira said but got cut off

"10 minutes are a lot in Kartik Goenka's life. Next time, make sure you aren't even late for a minute."

"Umm!" She replied and sat on her seat next to Tanvi

"You saw how......." Naira was saying till then Tanvi spoke up

"How handsome he is!" Tanvi replied staring at Kartik

"Forget it!" She said and threw the books hardly on the table, which made Kartik turn back to see her.

He gave an ignorant look and continued teaching

"I hope Dad didn't see, Kartik! If he did, then he will get worried, and it will affect his health. I hope he doesn't come to know that I met Kartik." Naira was lost in her thoughts

Kartik took advantage and asked her a question to make her feel embarrassed for not paying attention to the lecture......

"So, Miss. Naira, answer the question!" Kartik asked making her come out of her thoughts

"Define, business management!" He asked

She was silent for a minute, then spoke up

"Business management is the act of organizing people to accomplish the desired goals and objectives of a business." She answered sternly making Kartik shocked, to which he asked another question

"What does business management comprise of?"

Naira, started getting messages from the watchman,

"Your dad, fainted, and he is out of your college, please come fast!"

She didn't understand what to do, so she left the class taking her belongings, which made Kartik shocked

Without saying anything, Kartik also left the class half way and went out

"What kind of girl is she? I was asking her questions, and without answering she just went out of the class! Let me go and tell the dean about her behaviour......!" Kartik said as he was going to the cabin

On the other side, Naira came to her dad and tears rolled down her eyes, seeing her dad like that! The people helped her with a cab and she went to the hospital

"What must have happened to dad? Suddenly he fainted! I hope he is fine, I can't see him in this condition." She said sitting in the corridor waiting for the doctor to come out

"Ms. Naira, your dad is conscious, you can meet him." The doctor said as he came out of the ward

"What had happened to him? Is he alright?"

"Yes, yes! Nothing to worry, he was just stressed out, you all bought him at the right time, his blood pressure was high, now he is fine, but make sure he doesn't take anymore stress." The doctor said

Naira nodded and went inside

"Princess, what are you doing here?"

"Dad!" She hugged Naitik and cried

"Are you okay Princess?"

"I should be asking that! How are you? I was so worried, it felt like my whole world just ended!"

"Shh! Don't say that princess! When god has given me a beautiful princess, like you, nothing can ever happen to me! Now stop crying, I can't see my baby like this." Naitik said wiping her daughter's tears

Till then Naira gets a call from the dean of her university

"Hello Ms. Naira! We got to know about you leaving the college in the middle of the class! Can you explain please?" The dean asked

"Hello Sir! I am really sorry, I had an emergency, so I had to leave, I will make sure, not to do that again!" Naira answered

"Okay, thank you!" He said and hanging the call
