Chapter 4

"Today I will tell him my reason, why I left the class in the middle! He thinks it's my attitude towards his teaching and class. I am not interested in showing my attitude to him!" Naira stormed and went towards Kartik who was standing in the main ground

She stopped in her tracks, as soon as she saw him talking on a video call.

"What were you going to do Naira? The people who never gave you a chance to explain, the one's who asked you to leave that house, the people who never trusted you? You want to speak to them! No Naira, you are here for your career, and nothing more!" Naira thought to herself and went home booking a cab for herself.

On the other side, Keerti takes Naitik and goes to a cafe, where she called Manish

"Radhe Krishn!" They both greeted each other

"It's good to see you back to Udaipur, today I wanted to talk about an important topic!" Manish said Naitik

"Yes, Manish ji, what happened?"

"Can we think about getting Kartik and Naira back together? I know there are a lot of misunderstandings, I don't know what is the truth behind it, but we just can't blame Naira for this! Kartik and suvarna never believed that, but I am sure they both still care for each other and love each other the same way as before!"

"Yes Papa! I know as a father, it's very difficult for you to trust Kartik again and send your daughter in that house again." Kriti said

"No beta! It's not like that, but I don't think Kartik or Naira will agree for this. These two years, have been really bad for Naira, she spent nights crying, she used to get up suddenly at night, and cry! I hardly saw her smile in these two years. Of course they both are meant to be together, and that's why their lives have got affected without each other, but will they agree?" Naitik said

"I know but we can give it a try, and I know for some reason our try won't go waste! I know all this is misunderstanding, and nothing more. To forget all this, Kartik joined as a professor for business management!" Manish said shocking Naitik

"That's why he was in Naira's University!" Naitik said

"What? Naira's University?"

"Yes Papa, she joined a university for business management!" Kriti answered

"So, Kartik is Naira's professor! I am sure they might have met each other than."

"That is good and bad! Both!"

"Why?" Kriti asked

"Maybe, because they meet each other every day they might clear their misunderstandings and get everything better! But if they still ignore each other and increase the misunderstandings between them, then it's a problem! They will have more fights then." Manish explained

"Yeah! I hope they both get back together." Naitik said

What they didn't notice was, Suvarna had come to the same cafe and she saw Manish talking to Keerti and Naitik

"What is he talking with Naitik ji? And are they back to Udaipur? What is going on?" Suvarna said and after some time, she left

At home

"Manish, I want to talk to you about something really important!" Suvarna said

"What happened?"

"It's high time now! We should think aout Kartik's marriage! He can't be alone like this for his whole life right."

"Are you crazy Suvarna? Don't forget that Kartik is married! And yet you want him to marry someone else?"

"Naira! Seriously Manish? I will never accept her as my daughter in law! NEVER! You better understand that. Especially after what she has done, to us! Because of her, my Kartik's happiness is gone."

"Suvarna, you can't blame her for what happened 2 years back! She is still married to your son, and she is already the daughter in law of our house, no matter what you say!"

Without saying anything, Suvarna went out of the room angrily!

Naira was sitting in her room, till then she got a call from Tanvi

"Hey Tanvi, why did you call now? What happened?"

"Tomorrow evening there is fresher's party! The costume will be sent to you by tomorrow morning. You didn't see the notice?"

"I left the college in a hurry, so I didn't notice! But Tanvi, I don't want to attend any function."

"What happened? Don't do this yaar!"

"No, Tanvi! I don't want to come, you all enjoy. I am not in a mood to attend any college functions!" Naira answered but stopped as soon as she saw Naitik near the door

"Accha, I will call you later, bye!" She said and hung the call

"Princess, what happened? Why don't you want to attend?"

"No, dad, I am not in a mood to!"

"I can't see you sad Princess, I know why you don't want to attend it, but we want to see you and Kartik together! I want your happiness to be back, and that is only possible when Kartik is with you! I know it's not easy to solve this problem, but without trying, nothing is possible!" Naitik thought

Naira saw the sadness on her father's face

"Dad, I don't want you to be sad because of me! I can't tell you the reason. I know you all will be worried that I meet Kartik everyday, after what all happened! But for you, I will attend the party!" Naira thought to herself

"Dad, don't get sad! Your princess can't see you sad, I will go to the party! Now smile, pleasee!" Naira said smiling to which Naitik hugged her tightly
