Chapter 8

"Naira, why are you doing this with me? You don't love me anymore? Was our love fake? Why did you hide the truth from us? If you wouldn't have done that, you would be with me! My brother would be with me, and we would be a happy family! Why did you do this Naira? You don't care about me anymore?" Kartik said to himself taking shots

He was totally drunk, and was ordering for more drinks

"Naira come back to me! Come back to your Kartik, your mendak! Please Naira, come back." He kept on calling Naira's name, till then he saw a couple who were dancing and enjoying themselves

"I will give you an advice! Don't ever fall in love. Because love doesn't exist, at the end you just get betrayed! Love is fake, as time passes your partner will stop loving you and caring for you, and the most importantly they won't trust you the same! Don't fall in love." Kartik said the couple

"I think he is crazy! Let's go away from here." The boy said and took the girl and went

Kartik created a full mess there, and kept on taking Naira's name! He threw everything that he saw and was just shouting, people tried to get him to control, but it wasn't possible

The manager of the bar, called Naira, as he was just taking his name! So he dialled her number from Kartik's phone

"What? Kartik is calling me? Now what happened! I don't want to talk to him now!" Naira said looking at the caller ID and cut the call

After some time, she saw 32 missed calls from Kartik

"Omg! Is Kartik okay? Why is he calling me? I think I should answer." She said dialling back

"Hello, Ms. Naira?" The manager spoke

"Yes, who is this?"

"Can you please come to abc bar!? Please! Here this person, is fully drunk and he is just taking your name, things are out of control!" He said making Naira shocked

Naira hung the call, and slowly went out, without anyone seeing! She drived to the bar, and was shocked to see Kartik's condition.

"Naira, you came! I knew you will come back to me. I missed you soo much! Why did you leave me?" Kartik said but Naira didn't listen

She managed to get him in the car and drove to xyz hotel

"I can't take him to his home, or my home! I will take him to the hotel, and in the morning let him go to his home. I can't leave him alone!" Naira said and messaged Keerti that she is in her friend's house for a sleepover

They both reached the hotel, and entered their room

Kartik hugged Naira tightly, at first Naira didn't respond, but then she hugged him back

"Kartik why are you doing this? From when did you start drinking? And why? Don't you know how dangerous it is? It is a risk to your life!" Naira explained angrily

"When you are not with me, why should I care about my life? You are my life, and when my life is not with me, it's better if I die......" Naira kept her hand on his mouth!

"Kartik!! Shut up, dare you say something like this!"

"Now, you are back to me! I am so happy for that, please don't ever leave me alone." Kartik said

He was still drunk, and didn't realise what he was saying, he was still upset with Naira!

Kartik walked towards Naira and she moved back, finally she reached towards the bed, and they both fell on the bed.

They both were still staring each other continuously! They were lost in each other's eyes, all their memories came back!

Suddenly, Naira realised and she got up.

"Naira....." Kartik said but got cut off by Naira

"Shh! Now just sleep, I will talk to you tomorrow! Now you are not in your senses, I want the answers to my questions tomorrow! Now you sleep" Naira said going from there

The next day

"Keerti, beta where is Naira? She is not there in her room!" Naitik asked

"Last night, she went to her friend's house for a sleepover, she had messaged me!" Keerti replied

"Strange! Why did she go after we all slept? And she didn't say anyone also! She just messaged!" Naksh said

"Maybe, it was a sudden plan! It's okay, at least her mood will get better if she meets her friends." Keerti explained, till then she got a call from Suvarna

"Hello Maa! How are you?"

"I am fine beta! Keerti, is Kartik with you? He didn't come home last night, and till now he is not home!" Suvarna said shocking Keerti

"Wait what? Why do I feel Naira is with Kartik now!? Both of them were not here the whole night, and Naira suddenly went last night, she normally says someone, even if we are sleeping! Are they both together?" Keerti thought to herself

"No Maa! He is not here, he is in his friend's house for a sleepover! He had messaged." Keerti lied, because she couldn't say about Naira to Suvarna, she didn't even know that Naira is in Udaipur.

"Oh accha! But he should have informed us at least, but it's okay, at least he said you na! Thank you, I will call you later, everyone was getting worried for him." Suvarna said and hung the call

"Suvarna, I have a meeting in xyz hotel! So I am going, I will have breakfast there itself." Manish said and went
