Chapter 7

Kunal went to the Printing room to print posters, to expose Naira. He bought the posters and handed them to Naira

"What are these?" Naira asked looking at them

"I had already warned you, but you didn't listen to me! Now suffer. Your marriage truth will come in front of everyone." Kunal said scaring Naira

"Why are you doing all this? Why can't you understand at once? I don't like you, and I never will!" Naira said but the papers in her hand flew, and the people around her took it and started reading

Kartik, was shocked to see such posters about Naira

Everyone around her started laughing at her and teasing her! Her face grew into sadness, and tears started rolling down from her eyes.

Kartik couldn't see Naira like that, he went towards her and held her hand, without realising what he was doing! Naira was feeling much better after that, but people around were still teasing her

She went to the stage with a mic

"Good evening all of you! I know you all are shocked to see a married girl here. This was hidden from all of you, I know that! But let me tell you, that marriage doesn't affect your career! I always wanted to pursue my career and so I joined this college! There is no age for studying or gaining knowledge. I moved on from my marriage, now the only thing that matters to me is my business career!" Naira announced as Kartik was shocked to hear this

"Oh! So our marriage doesn't matter to you anymore Naira? Why are you doing this Naira? Why??" Kartik thought to himself

"And I want to study, so I will! No one can stop me too. I will pursue my career! I know all this feels a joke to all of you, but degrading someone and not letting someone study or continue with their career because they are married, is that right? No, it's not! I moved on with my past, so no one has the right to stop me! Just because I am married!" Naira said confidently before everyone clapped for her

Kartik was still shocked by all of this!

"Naira you forgot me? You moved on! You never thought about me? You moved on for your career? Our marriage doesn't matter?" Kartik thought to himself and went behind Naira to confront

Naira went and sat in an empty class, Tanvi followed her

"Naira, is all that true? Who is your ex husband? Why are you both not together anymore? You lived in Mumbai right? Why did you come back then? And in the first place, why did you leave Udaipur 2 years back?" Tanvi questioned

"Tanvi, please leave me alone! I don't want to talk to anyone about all this. It's just a past and I actually moved on from it! I don't want to think about any people who are from my past, from whom I was hurted the most! Please leave me alone for some time! I am sorry!" Naira said as she was crying

Tanvi went from there and Kartik heard the whole conversation

Naira leaned her head on the wall, and behind that Kartik did the same

"Why did you do this Naira? You want to forget about me? You don't care about me anymore?" Kartik thought to himself

"Kartik I am sorry! I am really sorry! I can never ever forget you! I care and loved you the most! Of course I am hurted from what had happened before, because you never gave me chance to explain! Why did you do that Kartik? When I needed you the most, you asked me to leave! I only loved you my whole life. I always wanted to tell you the truth, but I was never given the chance! And I am sure, today also the same thing will happen. I want to confront to you, and solve all the problems between us, but you don't even care about me now! I mean nothing to you now! You don't want to listen to me anymore, just like 2 years back!" Naira thought to herself

Both Kartik and Naira took their cars and went from the party in between

"How was your fresher's day Naira?" Keerti asked

"It was fine!" She answered

"What was your outfit! And who was your partner?" Keerti asked hoping for something good

"Bhabi, I am very tired, I am going to sleep, we will talk about this later!" Naira said and went to sleep

Keerti came downstairs

"What happened? Good or bad?" Naksh asked out of curiosity

"Umm! I don't know. I guess something bad happened! She just said that she is tired and she wanted to sleep. So, I also came from there!" Keerti said in disappointment

"Oh god! I hope it's nothing related to Kartik. We have to try our best to get them both together!" Naitik said

"Papa, I have an idea! It's our Marriage Anniversary in few days, so we can do something in that! Let's tell Kartik and Naira to do the decorations and other arrangements for the party." Keerti said happily

"But, Kartik and Naira won't agree to do it together! You both need to convince them!" Naitik said

"Don't worry papa, I will do it! And I have a hope that this will be one step of getting them together, and slowly things will get better." Keerti said

"I hope so!"

"Yes, and papa, can I go to my house tomorrow? For Rakhi?" Keerti asked

"Yeah sure beta! Naksh you should also go with her!" Naitik said

"Okay papa, I will go! How about making Naira and Kartik meet each other tomorrow? So that, they confront, and clear all the misunderstandings between them?" Naksh suggested

"No, Naksh beta! This might create more problems, we should take small steps! And matches are made in heaven, trust God, and things will get better by itself! So for now, don't do anything." Naitik explained

"Okay, Papa!"
