I walk into my new dojo, the thing is I've just moved from England to Seaford and god I feel lonely. I was a third Dan black belt in Taekwondo but I've never done karate I mean how different can they really be. I wonder in through the entrance of wasabi dojo and see two people who both turn to stare at me a man who looks in his mid 20's early 30's cleats his throat
"Hi can I help you?" He asks
I smile and wave "hi I'm (y/n) not that you asked that but I just moved here I don't really have any friends I done taekwondo when I was in England and I though hey I was pretty good at that so why not try something similar?" I rambled on god I feel like an idiot.
"Hey Rudy don't scary her off, hey I'm jack" the boy behind who I now know was Rudy said.
"Hi sorry I shouldn't have wondered in I'll just go" I say turning
"No wait you said you were good at Taekwondo right? What belt were you?" Rudy says
" yeah I mean I was a third Dan black belt" I say
" damn that's great" Rudy says I giggle slightly
Before asking "do you think I could train here ?"
" we'd love to have you train with us" he says jack smiles at me before coming over shaking my hand and saying "welcome to the team"
*Later that week *
"Hey guys we have someone new joining the dojo so be nice" I heard Rudy say wow he must like me if he's saying they have to be nice.i take a deep breath and step in.
"This is (y/n)" he says I smile and wave feeling the nerves eat me alive.
"Hey I just moved from England and it's really nice to meet everyone" I say still smiling but feeling slightly sick now.
"Hey" they all say one pipes up and says "and nice pretty sweet thing like you ain't gonna be able to beat me I'm a wolf" he says
"Bite me sweet thing" I say sassing him
"I'm Jerry let's spar girly" he says
"Ok Jerry ready to get your ass whooped" I smirk I know what I'm doing I took hits when we sparred at my old Do-jang. I need to make a good impression. I take my stance not even waiting for Jerry to say anything else. He takes his position and with that the fight took place he hit me a few times I let him think he hurt me and then I hit him hard I started with a turning kick and then turned into a spinning back kick knocking him to the floor I see him try catch his breath and then offer him my hand " still think I'm sweet?" I ask. He laughs your a fighter for sure. I look around and see everyone staring at me I smile awkwardly and they cheer jack picked me up and shouts "what a champ" I laugh and we get back to training
*after training*
"You guys want to head to Phil's" Kim says
I smile and say I'd love to before following them all to the place known as Phil's.
"So (y/n), what was England like?" Milton asked
"It was nice but it didn't have you guys so I don't know " I laughed I see jack blush and I'm slightly surprised he didn't seem like the kind to blush easily but I don't know him too well!
" you have a pretty smile" jack says out of the Blue I'm slightly taken back I blush lightly and thank him for his kindness. Before looking and my watch and standing up
" god I'm so late sorry guys my mum will be waiting for me and I said I'd help her unpack" I say before rushing out leaving my phone in the table.
I ran the whole way home and my mum was beyond mad and she left me to unpack everything by myself.
*the next day*
"Hey guys I lost my phone has anyone seen it ?" I asked feeling kind of deflated.
" yeah you left it in Phil's I think jack has it!" Kim laughs "oh and we all put our numbers in it" I smile thanking god I had made some really lovely friends.
"Hey, my little pumpkin" jack laughs giving me my phone I roll my eyes "why did you read the text my mum sent me that's not funny and I hate that nickname" I whined.
" awwwww come on sweetie" jack laughed I kicked his legs out from under him and start to laugh before I got dragged down to the floor with jack!
"Ahhhh" I scream before laughing again jack now had me pinned me under him our faces centimeters apart I look up at him, his eyes are like the oceans and they sparkle when the light touches them.
before long I feel jacks warm lips on mine they move in perfect sync with his and he pulls away leaning his head on mine he says in a deep raspy voice " wow I don't think I've ever felt so connected to someone I've just met."
I'm lost for words and before I knew what I was saying i had said it
" jack I liked you from the day I meet you and i know it hasn't been long since we met but will you go out with me ?"
Instead of an answer he kissed me this time pulling me closer to him hitting my lip before someone clears their throat and we pull apart.
"I'm taking that as a yes" and with that I stood up and got ready to start the lesson.
