Mistake me not for a maverick
Roaming the streets that thump and click,
They say I'm calm yet choleric,
Oh, what stupid rhetoric!
The stars became quite acidic,
My love became all aerobic,
The birds chirped on all anemic—
And her heart became more or less arctic!You know they say 'Be nice right from the start',
People discard that like a fart—
But when it's time to play their part,
They do what they shouldn't, they 'go break a heart'.
