"The things left unsaid to people we care about, and the void those unspoken words leave, often have more impact than what is said."

Mike and y/n stood dumbfounded, mouths agape, and eyes widened. It finally hit the girl what her ex boyfriend had said and she shook her head in disbelief. "I'm sorry, w-what did you say to me?" She said with a smile, but anger lurking deep inside her big e/c eyes. "y/n I-" Sam began, but was cut off immediately by y/n's laughter. The two boys stared at her, as if she were crazy. "So, let me get this straight. You broke up with me for cheating on you, even though you also cheated on me? And you cheated on me with fucking Jenna? Oh, this is too fucking rich, Samuel Johnson." She said with a crazy look in her eyes and a big grin. Sam backed away as Mike tried to stifle his laughter. "y/n, you're scaring me."

"Oh, I'm scaring you? Do you know how worried about you I was when you were ignoring me for a whole day and not telling me what was wrong?! I thought that you hated me and that I was the bad guy! When clearly we both helped with breaking this relationship." Mike and Sam looked at each other in shock. Sam moved closer to Mike and pulled him away from y/n. "What do I do? I have no comeback and you're like, super awesome at them!" He whispered, Mike shrugged his shoulders and looked over at y/n, who had a smug smile on her face.

Sam followed his gaze and his eyes quickly landed on his ex girlfriend. Sam looked over at her with puppy eyes, which he knew she couldn't resist. At first she tried not to give in, but then he added his infamous pout.

The girl's smile died down and she looked the terrified boy in the eyes and walked over to Sam and Mike. "Sam, I-I forgive you." She said softly and giggled lightly at his surprised expression. Mike scoffed and looked down at his friend in concern. "Wait, you what? How can you forgive him? He treated you like shit for cheating even though he did the same thing with his ex girlfriend and your arch nemesis!" He exclaimed, confusion in his tone. "Yeah, for once I agree with Wheeler. I don't believe it." Sam said also puzzled by his ex girlfriend's sudden forgiveness and calmness.

She chuckled at the two boys with a gentle smile on her face. "Well, believe it. I forgive you, and yeah Mike's right, but I'm going to be the bigger person and forgive you." She beamed and stuck her hand out for him to shake. Mike and Sam were still unsure about the peace offering, but Sam still accepted it. "Well, ok then. I hope we can still be friends." He said with uneasiness in his voice and shook her hand. "Yeah, of course we can." She grinned softly at him and he walked away to the assembly, in complete confusion.

y/n walked over to Mike and laughed at his furrowed eyebrows and dropped jaw. "What? Are you shocked?" She asked, a sly smirk spreading across her lips. He snapped out of his daze and looked down at her. "Um, yeah actually. I thought you were going to beat the shit out of him, but you were actually really mature, for once." The freckled boy said with a chuckle. y/n gasped at his subtle insult and punched his arm. "Ow! I'm joking, geez!" The raven haired boy giggled, rubbing his arm. "Lets go, dickhead." The small girl said as she chuckled.
