CHAPTER 27: SACRIFICER AND STARGAZING

Aashna's POV:

Now that everything was okay and we all were again the MAD 5! I couldn't wait for the trip tomorrow, we were going to camp! I got ready and went downstairs, Shruti was sitting ahead and Rohan was driving! I was sitting in between Kabir and Sanket, i asked Kabir to switch with me but he refused and i was too shy to ask Sanket

After some time i felt really sleepy and so i relaxed and i saw Sanket fidgeting with his hands and legs! Why is he doing so? I dont know when but i soon fell asleep and rested my head on someone's shoulder! I opened my eyes as kabir woke me up and i was resting on his shoulder!

"I am so sorry" i said "you have great shoulders though"

He just laughed and i saw Sanket staring at us from the corner of my eye! Whats wrong with this guy?

While we all camped and did setup of the camp and the bonfire, it was then when we realised that setting up camps isnt easy!

"Okay so 3 camps! Me and Shruti in one" Rohan said and shruti blushed

"I want one to myself, i have kicking problems" Kabir said

"Done booked" Rohan said and looked at us

"Guess you two are having one camp" he said and i looked at Sanket who was pissed off

"Why do i always have to be the sacrificer?" He said and that kinda hurt me! Is he sacrificing it for me?

I didn't say anything more after and went inside to do the needful work! We were all later chilling outside and we decided to go by the sea for a swim! I quickly changed into my bikini and went outside

While shruti and rohan were busy playing in the water and kabir was busy swimming, i sat on the sand and looked around when Sanket sat next to me

"Supp" he said

" hey sacrificer" i said

"Ouch" he imitated being hurt dramatically by keeping a hand on his chest

As soon as i got up to leave he pulled my hand and that pulled me down into his lap and within the next blink i was on him, we were having an eye lock! I should have gotten up but somehow i felt like i wanted to be in that moment, my hair came over my face with the gush of the wind and i realised that I should probably be up

"Umm sorry" i said as i tucked my hair back
"Its okay! We are friends right" he said and i smiled

We enjoyed in the water, Sanket was constantly having a water fight with me! I threw water at him and threw on me, but hey! He started it, he was the one who carried me up in bridal style again and took me into the water and dropped me in there! Yup this had happened before and so for my revenge because i cant lift him, my instincts told me to spalsh water on him and so i did

After sometime we all came back and dried ourselves with a towel and all of us lay in a circle, like if you would have seen us from a top angle, all our heads connected to form a circle

"Ahh MAD5" Kabir said and we all cracked jokes and told each other some embarrassing past stories and laughed

"Okay, lets go back now, i am hungry" i said getting up

"Are you?" Sanket looked at me and smirked and i stammered as i replied "ye..yeee..yes", he then goes on to lick his lips and come closer to me

"Not hungry in that sense" i say as i laugh and push him away playfully

"Arey! You only said you are hungry, my meals are even better than food" he said and i laughed at his dirty minded joke

"Whatever, guys lets race back! Whoever loses cooks dinner" i said as i ran and we all raced

Shrohan were the last to reach as Rohan picked her up because she was too tired to walk! You see the drama of this girl! They both cooked dinner waiting for which seemed like forever as they were busy romancing

"Can u two, get a room" Kabir said and Rohan raised his middle finger

"No for real though" i added "stop romancing that much"

"Whats wrong in expressing love?" Sanket said

"No nothing is wrong in expressing love, its too much just" i tried to justify myself and he smiled and nodded thinking to himself

"You know many people cant express what they feel, they just dont happen to and it's something they cant change, so ya better show your love to your girl, orelse she will leave" he said and it was deep like i thought he was talking about himself here! He muttered something to himself after this which I accidentally happened to hear that is "just like everyone else"

"Okay guys, dinner is done" Rohan said and we all had dinner and a bonfire where we all sung songs! It was finally the time to go to sleep

"Umm you sleep here, i am not sleepy right now" he said as made his way to the camp door to outside and i who covered myself blankets got up

"Wait so aint gonna sleep?" I questioned because you never know

"I am, just not now" he said as he went out

"Well you know what, even i am not sleepy" i said as i came out of my blanket and went outside with him!

"What happened?"i ask as i sat down next to him

"Nothing" he smiled "just look at the sky! Its so beautiful, we sleep on mattresses like regularly but will you ever get a chance to lie down on this soft grass and do skygazing? No right" he said as he laid down and i also laid down! After all what he was saying was correct

"Like just look how beautiful and twinkling the stars are here and how they are back at home" he said and i juts kept looking at the stars

"You know stargazing is so amazing, like look at that constellation" he said as he pointed and explained to me how stars connected like dots and formed the constellation

"Wow" was all i could say! Just wow, while laying down on the soft grass, i felt a lillte cold due to the chilly winds so sanket told me to go get pillows and blankets as we were going to sleep under the stars! He assured me that it was safe and that no snakes or rats are gonna come in the night! I followed his instructions and grabbed the pillows and blankets and we both laid down, covered in our blankets, while watching the stars, i saw a shooting star

"Look" i said as i saw a shooting star and closed my eyes to make a wish

"You also believe in it!" He said astonishingly

"Yup, its lame but yeah" i said and he smiled "me too" "i have never met anyone who believed in this after growing up" he said and i smiled

We both lay down again and after a while our hands entangle and soon after, we sleep under the stars and the beautiful sky
