CHAPTER 38: PAST REVEALED

Sanket's POV:

"But?" I said

"Then i found out my dad with another woman, he had a child with another woman, he fucking cheated on my mother and had a child from someone else! I just started to hate him after that" i  said and she was shocked, her mouth was just open

FLASHBACK:

As a kid i was roaming around in my house with my paper airplane trying to make it fly in a corridor and thats when i hear someone shouting on the door

"You cant just do this" i heard a manly voice shout which I recognised was of my dad

"I cant do what!" I heard a girl shout back, it wasn't mommy voice

"But mommy isnt home" i thought to myself

"You have handle her" she said

"But how i just cant" my dad replied back

"I dont know, i dont care, i am leaving you and thats your property" she said and i could hear a baby cry

"I am leaving her with you" she said and the door was about to be open so i just left to the next room

"Unaware about what cheating was then, i didnt know what just happened, my dad convinced my mom to adopt her and he just setup my sister in an orphanage and went down to the lowest level" i said with tears in my eyes

"Holy fuck" she said as she understood "divya it was" she said and held my hand even tighter

"You kept so much within you since then" she said gave me a tight hug and i felt relieved to tell her, a few tears fell out but she wiped them

"Its okay, you kept so much within you from such a long time, its okay to cry and let it out but have you told Divya?" She said

"No, how could i? And promise me you wont too" i said and she promised me that she wont

"So yaa since then i hated my dad and he hates me and thats how it is, my mom also doesn't like him but divorce is big deal for the society plus he gives us money for expenses and all so nobody cares that he home or not" i said

"Its okay" she said as she ran her thumb on my hand

"Okay so now, lets change the topic, how do you know Ava and Avinash?" She said and i took a deep breath

"Yeah, that, so Ava was my girlfriend and she introduced me to her cousin brother Avinash, so whenever i was with them, i met him and he made me try drugs and after i became like an occasional user, i craved it! And now after I promised you i haven't touched drugs till then and so his main client was gone so pressured me and gave me warnings" i said

"So how did Mad 5 get him arrested?" She asked meaning she read the news

"So the day i told you it isnt safe here and how he asked for your bra, i was very angry and he knew very well he would get me if he targetted you and so i had to keep you safe, so after the party got over I confronted him and asked for your bra back and ..."
