Ash ran home and up to his room to get ready for his "date" with Gary Oak.
"Pikachu why would Gary invite me out of all people, we hate each other!" Ash said.
"Pika?" Pikachu interrogated
"Ok ok I don't hate him, but he does and since I'm planning on going on an other adventure I don't know what I'll do" the young boy said as he picked out an outfit totally different of his usual clothes.
"It's almost night Pikachu I should get going" he said.
"Pika pika Pikachu" said Pikachu as he started to walk with him.
"I'm sorry buddy, but I can't take you with me this time, I just want it to be me and Garry" the trainer said to his Pokémon.
"Pika pika" Pikachu said understanding.
"I promise I'll tell you all about it when I get back" The trainer promised as he left his house and out to the lake.

When Ash arrived at the lake he was breathless.
There were lights everywhere and chinchou's illuminated the lake giving it an angelic look.
Then he saw Gary, he was carrying some flowers and was in a tuxedo. He looked focused and sacred at the same time.
"G-gary?" Ash asked cautiously.
The boy turned around and released the breath he didn't know he was holding.
"Ash! I didn't think you were coming since it was kinda sudden" he said with a hand behind his head.
"Well I came and I see you've been busy" Ash said.
"Yeah I've been planning this for quite a while now", the boy said blushing.
They both stood there in silence until Gary spoke up "here" he said giving ash the flowers.
"Th-thanks" Ash said blushing.
"I have something else for you too", Gary said taking out a ukulele.
"I didn't know you played something" Ash said.
"Yeah well I learned to play the ukulele just for this occasion" Gary said blushing.
They both sat down on the grass and Gary started to play.

When Gary finished he look over at Ash who was blushing madly.
"I guess what I'm trying to say is that I like you Ash I've liked you ever since we were kids, but I was too scared to tell you because you'd think I was weird and turn me down" Gary said.
He started to get up, but he was pulled down and then he realized what was happening he was kissing the boy of his dreams, Ash Ketchum.
When they let go both of them were blushing and they just looked at each other.
"I like you too Gary I was just too afraid of rejection" the trainer said.
Gary smirked and pulled Ash close to him.
"I guess the only question now is will you be my boyfriend?" The boy with Dark Viridian eyes said.
Ash was stunned, "YES! A thousand times yes!"
"Well you are now mine" Gary said as he slipped a necklace on him.
It was a Pikachu carrying half of a heart.
"I have the other side so we make a whole. It's kinda cheesy I know" Gary said sheepishly.
"No no it's perfect" Ash said with joy.
They both leaned in for a kiss and fireworks went off. Turns out Gary was good at planning surprises.
I know I said if people liked it I would put a part 2, but I just couldn't help myself and did it anyway. In the next chapter ash is leaving for the Alola region!
