Kim Hyun Joong's POV
Thank God its Friday,I needed to go work on time so I can come home to rest for the weekend.
"You're always dressed before I get to your room"I said to Kim who was playing games on her new phone.
"What are you trying to hide from me?"I asked trying to sound annoying
"What you haven't earned"She responded still on the phone
"You keep saying that"I said to her
"Ugh"She exclaimed feeling irritated as she slammed the phone on the bed
"What do you want this time?"She asked me angrily
"Came to let you know I'll be home early"I said to her
"Did u have to?"She was still angry at me,I turned to leave but she said something that got me surprised
"Sun told me you wanted to be a singer"she said to me,I turned back to look at her
"Are you trying to be annoying towards me for bugging you or did you actually talk to Sun last night"I got curious
"I'm still yours you have nothing to worry about"She assured,I then turned to leave
"I'd like to see what tricks you have"She added as I headed out to leave for work.
I met my mom in my office.
"You're early"I ssid to my mom
"No greetings?,just because you're the new CEO,that gives you bodacity to disrespect your mother"She ranted.
I went towards to hug her.
"I love you mom"I said then went to sit on my chair.
"You're in charge of overseeing the goods being shipped to the Incheon port"I said to my mom,immediately Kim Sang and Min came into the office.
"I'll send Kim Sang instead,your father might come home today"She said to us
"You still give that man hope,he might be out there enjoying his time with a new mistress"I said to my mom
"Hyun joong"Min tried to caution me.
"Its alright Min,I dont care what he says I still love my husband"She defended
"That is true. Min,Kim Sang you need to secure your shares in the company"I siad to Min.
"We'll take care of that when Kim Sang comes back"My mom as she dragged Kim Sang along with her
"I'll head out too"Min tried to leave him but I stopped him
"Look we're brothers,I know you are not happy I'm the new CEO"I said as I left my chair and sat on the edge of the table.
"There's nothing I can do about it,isn't that right?"Min said to me.
"Stop being sadistic"I tried to caution him but It wasn't working.
"You're going to Sun,how's she?"I was concerned
"She's fine,and Kim?"He asked back
"I got her a phone if you want,I could give her your number"I said to him
"Really,and you're okay with that?"Min sounded surprised.
"Don't sound so surprised,I'm not a monster"I defended
He smiled at me then left soon after.
3pm,I was able to clear my schedule for the day.I took the car alone to work without the driver because i wanted to someplace important to get something for Kim to compensate her sacrifice.
I got to an expensive jewelry shop.After I got I wanted for her I headed towards my car ready to go when a robber broke my glass,punched in the face making me confused and oblivious at what was going on.He dragged me out of the car as he called the rest of his men to beat me up without taking anything.Weak and unable to stand, people gathered round me but I didnt let them come near me,still lying on the floor with bloodstains all over my face,I texted Min to come help me.

Kim's POV
I was on the bed when Mi-Cha came rushing into my room looking scared
"What's wrong Mi-Cha?"I asked an unsettled Mi-Cha
"The master...he is..."She found it hard to explain to me what was going on
"What's is it?"I quickly got off the bed and followed her to where ever it what ever she was trying to explain to me.
I saw Min helping Kim to.the couch.I was surprised to see Kim covered in blood,I don't know if it was my Andrenline that made me rush towards him to help him sit on the couch in the living room.
"What happened?"I asked Min
"He was attacked,he was conscious enough to call me for help"Min explained
"Wheres his room?"Min asked
"Upstairs,can he walk?"as soon as I asked Min,Kim gain his consciousness,coughing at same time.
"Kim"He called to me
Min took him by the arm upstairs as we set him on his bed.Lee wasn't around but the three maids tented to his wounds.After some minutes,I and Min stood just behind his door to talk.
"Thank you for what you did for him"I said to Min
"Believe it or not,I did it for you,I see the way you look at him,you would do anything to grant grandma's wishes to take care of my brother"Min said making me come to realization
I gave him one last hug,he left right after.

Kim Hyun Joong's POV
I heard all what Kim and Min said as I watched their shadow from the door.
As soon as Min's shadow disappeared,Kim came in to check up on me.
"I heard you two talking"I said to her
"We weren't planning on killing you now,are we?"She said coldly to me
"I'm already used to your cute attitude"I tried to annoy her
"You need time to heal,I'll be in my..."As she stood up to leave,I grabbed her hand stopping her from leaving
"Grab my coat and bring out what's in its right pocket"I instructed but she hesitated
"Please"I pleaded,she finally heeded
"I'm doing this because you were a victim of a self deserving circumstances"She said it like I deserve the beatings
She took my coat and brought out a long but tiny box
She brought towards me exactly where she stood before.
"Open it"I implored,she heeded
"Its beautiful,is this for your Kim Seoun?"she asked
"Ahh"She then gasps
"You have someone"She assumed
"What are you implying?"I asking slowly fighting the pain I felt round my body
"You love someone else,don't you?,then why waste your time with me?"She added
"Why would you make such an assumption?,I got it...for you Kim"I admitted to her,it's a necklace.
"I'm so sorry I can't accept this"She said dropping it on drawer beside my bed.
I grabbed her hand again and gave a sympathetic stare
"Then stay with me,you promised my grandma and my aunt you would take care of me"I said to her,I don't mean to force her though
She had no choice but to get on the bed and wrap her arms around me,I could feel her heartbeat racing,it felt like she was scared,but after a few minutes it stopped and became calm making me feel warm and safe in her arms. I quickly drifted into a swift sleep.
A few moments later,right from sleep I didnt know how long,I felt her body move away from me and the bed.
She stood where she was before opposite the door but I didnt open my eyes.
"You can't make me fall,I just can't fall in love with you I'm sorry"Kim said to me with a teary voice
"I'm doing this for a friend Kim,not you.I can't love you"She added then left
As soon as I felt her presence disappear,I opened my eyes.

Min's POV
We had a mission that night after I left Hyun Joong's place.
We went to a strip club where the mafias owned.The strippers were on their poles dancing and showing off their nudity to the hungry criminals.It was a small club that smell like crime.One of my men shot through the ceiling scaring everyone,the loud screams of the sluts were everywhere as they ran out in fright.The mafias came at us but we shot them down or snapped their neck.
"Min!"Soo Jin exclaimed warning me as a man came at me,but I kick away his gun and knock him down snapping his neck.
"I had that"I said boastfully to her
"I know you did,Boss"She responded
We went into the office,they weren't expecting us,we started shooting killing almost everyone.A yakuza who came there for fun and the leader of the mafia in that district were still alive but wounded,I got to the yakuza to talk to him
"You had fun at the wrong hour,wrong place,why are you here?"I asked but he gave no reply,as soon as I turned my head he grabbed my knife from my pocket
"Boss watch out"One of my men alerted us,the yakuxa used my knife to stabbed himself on the neck
"What a waste"I said I grabbed back my knife and wipe the blood off on his pants.
We cleared out everyone and left the leader.A bullet met his arm,Soo Jin used it at her advantage to torture him.She pressed her stiletto into his wounds as he screamed in pain.
"Start talking!"She commanded him
"I guess i'm not as strong as the yakuza"The man said,Soo Jin gave him a punch out of anger
"Easy feisty,we need him alive for information"I cautioned
"Yes,easy"The man teased Soo Jin
"Hey you, start talking or you'll experience a pain far worse than hers"I warned him,he got scared and decided to talk
"Money is power,the Mafias are begining to lose their respect and capital due to the Triads aligning with a tycoon here in Korean"He meant my uncle but he doesn't know
"The Triads are investors,they reached out to us, the yakuzas are merely in partnership with us,if we agreed to help them,the Triads, they'd pay us fair square without hurting their top investor,the tycoon"He said
"By stealing all his resources"I said furiously to him,he kept on panting from pain
"Please spare me"He pleaded for his life but we couldn't risk it
"You look like you're in so much pain,we'll end it for you"I said
"No no"He got scared,I took my knife and stabbed his neck,he died slowly with blood gushing out his throat.
"Those Triads are desperate,they don't even know the Don yet they wage war against him"Soo Jin said to me
"Tell the Don.I need to go take care of my family,so they don't suspect I had something to do with Hyun Joong's beatings,you did a good job with him"As soon as I said this to Soo Jin,a young boy came out from the curtain and tried but I went after him and caught him on the dance floor,he was very young I didn't have the heart to kill him.He struggled making my hankie drop on the floor without my notice
"He needs to die,he'll expose us"Soo Jin insisted
"Who sent you?!"I asked loudly.
"I'm a gopher for the Triad,I promise I won't tell anyone"He assured,I released him as I watched him run out from the club
"I hope you're right about that one,if it goes wrong,I'll make sure it bounces back on you...Boss"Soo Jin said coldly to me.
