( During the sino-american war the US was in a need of large surface warships but even though the US navy had battleships and battlecruisers most of them were still fitting out. so the US government made a radical decision and reactivate the Iowa class battleships once more but only Iowa and Missouri because they were moored on the west coast and it will take too long to move Wisconsin and New Jersey anyway. So Iowa and New Jersey got an increase in armor along with some extra weapons include two extra Phalanx CIWS mounted on their front bows, eight Rim-166 rolling air frame missiles for extra air defense and six Bushmaster auto cannons in typhoon mounts. After their refit Iowa and Missouri arrived for the battle of the south china sea along side it's allies against the P.L.A.N . After servicing for another 3 years along side the modern advance battleships they were returned to their moorings as museums again)
