CHAPTER 59

Mattia POV
Chloe: is mommy okay? She said with a worried face

Mattia: yeah she is just a little sad right now

Mateo: can I got comfort her?

Mattia: think we should just leave her alone for right now. How about we go for a walk?

c&m: Okay

I got them dress and we went for a walk. I was holding alex on my hip because I didnt want to push him in a stroller.

Chloe: doggie. She said clapping her hands

Mateo: we are not getting a dog. He said rolling his eyes

alex was asleep on my chest cause now i was holding him in front of me. I heard chloe and Mateo talking about dogs so why not just say it....

Mattia: y'all wanna dog?

Chloe: doggie?! She said stopping and turing around

Mattia: yeah doggie. Mateo you want a dog

Mateo: yes!

I smiled and we actually went back home got in the car and drove to the pet store. I really wanted to cheer elena up with something besides sex and kisses so why not a dog.

Chloe: this one. She said pointing to this little dog

D/o (dog owner): oh yes these ones a very friendly. Um- this is a Yorkie, its 2/1.5 pounds and its very interactive.

Mattia: how much?

D/o: in lets see here- it's $125. For the shots and everything added its 30 bucks. She said looking at the tag

Mattia: y'all want this one? I say talking to the kids

Kids: yes!

D/o: alr follow me sign these papers, and uh- he will be yours

I sat down and it asked my name, d.o.b, and stuff like that. It was a boy dog so I wanted to ask the kids to name it.

Mattia: what you want to name it?

Mateo: bruno. He smiles

I look at chloe and she had a smile on her face and she nodded really fast. I smiled and let out a little chuckle and look at alex. He was sitting in his stroller and he nodded slowly.

Mattia: bruno it is. I laugh

I give the papers back to the lady and she told me she gave him the shot, he is trained, and is friendly and shouldnt bite. I nodded at everything she said and we left.

Chloe: surprise mommy!

Mattia: want to surprise her?

alex: iehrbakhr. He said clapping his hands

Mateo: lets go to dollar tree and put it in a little box with a bow

Mattia: Okay

We drove to dollar store and I bought a box in her favorite color and the bow to match it. Me and the kids walk back out the the car and I sit bruno in the box.

Mattia: sit bruno. Mateo sit him on your lap

Mateo sat bruno on his lap in the box and bruno was quiet and well trained. We arrived home and I set alex in his high chair and the kids sat on the island chairs. I set the box with bruno in it on the island and told the kids to keep him in the box.

Elena POV
I heard the front door open and close. Im guessing they had came back from what ever they went out to do. I was still in my ball and I had a puddle of tears on the sheets.

Mattia: Elena.....?

Elena: what?.....

Mattia: i have something for you, come downstairs

I throw the cover off me and it was so cool. It was very hot under the cover.

Elena: like what? I say in a shaky voice

Mattia: just come

He walks over to me and he grabs my hand. I grip his hand and he covers my eyes lightly with his palm.

Elena: mattia I dont like this. I say touching his hand

Mattia: you will like it I promise

Those words I didn't like. I didnt even want to move out of my position I was in.

Elena: are we there yet?

Mattia: yes

He uncovers my eyes and i see a box with a bow on top.

Elena: if you have another necklace in here im not gonna be happy. I say looking at him with a death stare

Mattia: i promise, look

I open the box and I see a cute dog jump out wagging its little tail. I smile and mattia gives me a big smile. It was so cute. I put it up and it licks my face. I set it on the island and I give mattia a big hug. He hugs me back and I tear up on his chest

Elena: is it for me?

Mattia: yeah for you. To make you feel better. Im sorry about what your parents said. Its true, everything  they said is true about me or you

I look down and I see the dog playing with Mateo and Chloe

Elena: idc what they say i still love you

Mattia: i still love you too. He says kissing my cheek

Elena: whats its name?

Mattia: bruno. His name is bruno. He smiles

Elena: so its a boy?

Mattia: yeah

Elena: i like the name

Chloe: bruno....is cute. She says smiling

Mateo: not cuter than me tho

Mattia: wrong he is not cuter than me

Chloe: no❤

Mattia: shut up i made yall. He says drinking water

I laugh and we just play with bruno until it was dark.
