Louise exits the cab, seeing thousands if not more surrounding the large buildings in front of her. She steps lightly through the crowd, many glancing to her as she keeps her eyes out for one man, maybe two. She enters what seemed to be the main building, a voice speaking through a system above her.
‘Welcome to the Modern Marvel Pavilion and the World of Tomorrow. A greater world. A better world.’
She pauses to glance at showcases around her, watching as many others did as well. Her body stops before some steps, as she glances around to see. Her eyes land on a pair of broad shoulders and another short, smaller man next to him.
“Bucky!” She yells lightly, getting the pair's attention, as well as some others. Steve turns around to face her, his eyes wide as he taps Bucky’s arm next to him.
Bucky turns, his jaw dropping open slightly as his eyes raked over her outfit, the two girls standing next to him watching. He steps away, as Steve awaits with the girls, whose faces had dropped.
“Louise. You look marvelous, darlin’.” He says, and she blushes lightly as he holds his hand out. He escorts her towards Steve and the girls. She keeps silent, as she knew Bucky invited the girls. She pulls away once she nears Steve, Bucky makes a face as the girls speak indistinctly and pull him forward for a showing. Louise gives Steve a smile as they step up after them.

“Ladies and Gentlemen, Howard Stark.” A woman announces from a microphone on stage, five showgirls stand as Howard Stark enters with a smirk in a black tux. The matching tux showgirl hands him the mic, Stark giving her a kiss and they exit the stage. He wipes his mouth off as they disappear, a woman yelling out from the crowd.
“I love you, Howard!”

“Ladies and gentlemen, what if I told you that in just a few short years, your automobile won’t even have to touch the ground at all.” Howard says, the showgirls returning to stand behind the large red car on stage. Four showgirls lift the wheels from the car, stepping out of the way as Stark moves a waist height stand in front of him.
“Yes. Thanks, Mandy.” He pauses, waiting to address the crowd again.
“With Stark robotic reversion technology, you’ll be able to do just that.” Stark then switches a knob, and lifts a lever up slowly. The car begins to hover above the ground, the distance between the stage and car growing with each second.

“Holy cow.” Bucky says next to Louise, who had stepped back from as the two girls stood before the golden tro. The car hovers at least 1 ½ feet, a humming sound growing as it rises. Electrical sparks flicked from the silver devices where the wheels should have been, an electrical screech fills the air and the car crashes slightly back to the ground, sparks flying slightly from it for a second. Gasps spark out, and Bucky smiles slightly, his eyes glancing to Louise who did the same without the smile.
“I did say a few years, didn’t I?” Howard jokes on stage, with an agitated laugh, as many people laughed and clapped. Louise does lightly, Steve steps away after a few seconds, Louise catching as he moves through the crowd towards an Uncle Sam sign that leads to a recruiting station. She moves to step away as well, hoping to find something away from Bucky and the girls.

Louise steps up to the recruitment station, having taken a stop to look over a display. Her eyes land on Bucky and Steve in the middle of an area in the large expo.
“You go ahead. I’ll catch up with you.” She hears Steve say as she approaches them.
“You’re really gonna do this again?” Bucky asks, knowing Louise was near.
“Well, it's fair. I’m gonna try my luck.”
“As who? Steve from Ohio? They’ll catch you. Or worse, they’ll actually take you.” Bucky continues, the two going back and forth.

“Hey, boys.” Louise tries calming them, being ignored as they converse.
“Look, I know you don’t think I can do this.”
“This isn’t a back alley, Steve. It’s war!” Bucky whispered shouts, as many people walked through the station.
“I know it’s a war. You don’t have to tell me.”
“Why are you so keen to fight? There are so many important jobs.” Louise spots a slightly older man pause farther behind the duo, her eyes scanning the man.

“What am I gonna do? Collect scrap metal…” Steve muses, continuing on.
“Yes!”
“…in my little red wagon.” Steve adds on.
“Why not?”
“I’m not gonna sit in a factory, Bucky.” He pursues
“I don’t…”
“Bucky, come on! There are men laying down their lives. I have no right to do any less than them. That’s what you don’t understand. This isn’t about me.” Steve says, Louise then moving in as Bucky spoke.
“Right. Cause you got nothing to prove.” Louise pushes Bucky back slightly, and his eyes widen.

“Hey, Sarge! Are we going dancing?” One of the girls from earlier asks for outside the station in the expo. Bucky hesitates as he stares at Louise. She turns slightly from him, her eyes connecting to the man from a distance before she looks to Steve.
“Yes, we are.” Bucky finally says, and turns back.
“Don’t do anything stupid until I get back.” Bucky says as he backs away slightly, his eyes looking to Louise.
“How can I? You’re taking all the stupid with you.” Steve retorts, and Bucky moves in to hug him.
“You’re a punk.” Bucky says and he stares at Lousie, and he pulls back.
“Jerk. Be careful.” Steve says as Bucky moves back. Louise gives him a nod, as he steps away slowly keeping eye contact.
“Don’t win the war till I get there!” Steve says, and Bucky turns and salutes them.
“Come on girls. They’re playing our song.” Louise hears Bucky say as he walks away. She follows Steve towards the station glancing at the man from earlier as they walk towards the enlistment. Bucky sparing one last glance at them as they disappear.
