chapter 2 : meeting again

Both Kartik and Naira's world froze the second they were in each other's arms.

Kartik broke the eye contact and he got angry.Naira understood how he was feeling with taking a look into his eyes.

kartik quickly pulled her up and made her stand.Naira was so shocked to see kartik here.

kartik ignored naira and went to the front of the classroom and naira went off and sat next to tanvi

"Are you okay?"Tanvi asked and naira remained silent as tears rolled down her eyes but tanvi could not see them.

"naira,i am asking you.Are you okay?"tanvi asked naira tapping on her hand

"Yeah I am okay..."naira replied looking at kartik who was writing something on the black board.

"So good morning class.I am your new professor Kartik Goenka!I expect everyone to be on time for my class and if you don't have any interest you can leave silently without causing any disturbance!"kartik said firmly and in the end making an eye contact with naira.

Naira couldn't take it anymore.She packed her books in her bag and stood up when kartik was looking at something in his book.

Kartik saw naira leave the room which made him more angry.Naira wiped her tears as she ran to the washroom 

"So she can't even stay in the same room with me..!"Kartik thought to himself and then started the class

Naira skipped her first class and then started to go to her other classes.During the lunch break she decided to go to the library to read as she was not hungry.

when she was searching for a book someone grabbed her hand and pulled her to the very ending corner of the library.Naira was pinned to the wall and her mouth was covered by his hand

Naira looked up to see Kartik who was already very angry.

"What is your problem huh?"Kartik asked

Naira also had enough of him and pushed him forcefully away

"Kartik!'She shouted in anger

"You are asking about my problem!What the hell is your problem?"Naira shot back

"Why did you leave the class?"Kartik shot back

"It is my wish. If I want to stay in class I will and if I do not want to I won't!"Naira said

"It is also my wish too because I can fail you in the class too!"Kartik shot and naira remaind silent

Naira was about to leave but kartik grabbed her hand again and pinned her to the wall

"Two years....it has been two years already...can you believe it?"kartik asked naira making her to look at him

"I know how long it has been..you don't need to remind me!"Naira said and looked away.

"Your attitude still didn't leave you did it?"Kartik shot

"Your anger also still didn't leave you did it?"Naira asked back

"You know the reason why I am angry!"Kartik said

"You are angry at me for a mistake I didn't do!"Naira said

"A mistake you didn't do? I lost my brother because of you!"Kartik said

"Shubham promised me he will tell you all. He made me not to speak a word! You have no idea how much I wanted to tell you Kartik but I couldn't...!"Naira said

"If you told me about my brother's drug addiction he would have been still alive. I would have helped him!Because of you my brother is dead Naira!"Kartik said trying to keep calm because he didn't want to create a scene in the library.
