“I'm so sorry,” I hear then looked around, taking in my surroundings “i could not save him, he is slowly slipping into the underworld” I hear next and I do not need to be convinced as I just took off running in the stone built hut, barging in the room where Tutankhamun laid on the bed weakly, he wore his war attire.

I quickly got over to his side “Tutankhamun? How can this be? I already saved you” my brows furrowed at what was going on around me “My love...will you be with me till the end?” he asks, looking deep into my eyes, filled with pleadings “no, no, no, no, I saved you, this has to be a dream, you can't leave me” tears slipping down my cheeks

“I'm sorry I did not believe you about the matter of Smenkhkare” he admits, “please, be with me....till I go into the underworld?”

“No! You are not dying! You are fine, you'll be just fine,” I cry “we'll get you to my time and they'll fix you” he smiled weakly “I will always love you”

“no, you can't! You won't leave me! I forbid you to!” I cry but then slowly, I saw his eyes slowly closing “no, open your eyes Tutankhamun, I'll save you, please don't leave me” before I knew it; everything went black

“Tutankhamun was meant to die” a deep voice growls startling me; “you were not meant to save him! No spirit could ever save him!” the voice shouts

Catori

Startled, I jolted up panting and breathing heavily trying by all means to get air. “Catori?” I hear making me startled again “it's okay, it's okay, it was just a dream” I hear the voice of Tutankhamun “just a dream?” I ask not sure as I registered we were in our room in my time “yes, it's okay, I'm here” my eyes eventually found his brown eyes as I immediately wrapped my arms around him “please don't leave me” I sobbed “I won't. I'm here, I'll always be here” he kissed my sweaty forehead

“would you like some water?” I nodded as he grabbed some on the nightstand and I drank calming myself down “you're fine” he reassured me and I nodded releasing a small but noticeable smile.

It was just a dream.

“Catori? Tutankhamun?” I call out as saw I was in the palace... somehow? Along the halls, I saw Ay “the Pharaoh is dead,” he started out and I am confused

I have lived this before and Tutankhamun came out okay, how can this be?

“no, he can't be dead” I shook my head refusing to believe this information “he is dead; he died during the war, he has no heir meaning he will be a forgotten Pharaoh. But you, Ankhesenamun have a claim. Marry me and we'll rule together, making it a better dynasty Egypt has never seen before” Ay says to me

“That is a pure lie. Tutankhamun has a heir, Kaizer and he also has a wife, Catori” I stated “there are no people here by the name of Kaizer and Catori; Ankhesenamun, are you sure you are okay?” Ay asks me “no” I shook my head running through the halls.

I ran to Catori's bedchamber not Finding her there “Catori?!” I call but no answer, I ran to Tutankhamun's bedchamber, not seeing Kaizer's crib “what's happening?” I ask panicked

“whats happening is the Pharaoh is dead. Be my wife and we'll rule together” I hear Ay again as came over closer to me “no! This cannot be! My brother is alive! And I won't be your wife!”

“You will be my wife when I'm Pharaoh!” he hissed and everything went black.

“Tutankhamun was meant to die” a deep voice growls and i shook my head “no”
