Carson woke up the next morning in Riley's spare bedroom, Alex sitting beside the boy. Carson's head pounded as his eyes fluttered open, squinting at the sunlight peeking through the blinds.
"Good morning, Blondie." Alex grabbed a cup and pills, ready to give them to Carson. Carson hums, rubbing his eyes. "How are you feeling?"
He shrugged, sitting up, "shitty." Carson's voice was hoarse, Alex nearly gasped at the deepness. "I'm so sorry I drank and if I did anything stupid."
Alex handed him the items, nervously smiling. "I was supposed to watch you, I'm sor-"
"You shouldn't need to babysit me."
Carson took the pills dry, trying to gather his thoughts. The last thing he remembered was drinking whiskey while a girl was riding him. Everything out was like trying to remember a dream.
The door opens, Riley entering the room. "Oh, you're finally awake." Carson was about to speak, but yawned softly. Alex and Riley exchanged a look as the redhead plopped onto the bed. "So, uh, we need to talk..."
Carson's eyes enlarged, his heart racing. "I'm so sorry I got drunk, I know you're disappointed and-"
"That's not what I wanted to talk about." The blonde furrowed his brows, wondering what the hell he talked about last night. "You have siblings?"
Carson paused, immediately looking down at his hands. He knew his drunken self must've said something. "No."
His heart was racing, he could hear it. His hand were trembling and sweating, he could feel it against his legs. His eyes were stinging with tears, his mouth was dry, his head pounded.
The other two were utterly confused why Carson seemed to be panicking at the question. After all, he was the one crying about them last night.
"Calm down, what's wrong?" The blonde tapped his finger against his knee, tears brimming his eyes. If he blinked, they'd all fall. "Do you need a hug."
Carson sucked in a breath, the tears finally falling."I d-dunno..." Alex frowned, wrapping his arms around Carson, squeezing him gently. "I'm s-sorry."
"What for?"
"Crying."
Riley sent Carson a sad smile, who was still being hugged by Alex. "Don't apologize." The redhead fumbled with him hands. "Did you have a bad relationship with them or something? Is that why you're upset?"
Carson sighed. There was no point in hiding the truth any longer, especially since he exposed himself. He regretted every single thing about last night.
"I had an amazing relationship with them."
"Had?"
Carson nods at the curious boy, "yeah, had..." Riley furrowed his brows, Alex equally as confused. "I haven't talked to them in nearly 8 months."
The blue haired boy pulls away, staring at Carson. "8 months? What happened? Did you have a falling out?"
He shook his head, wiping the tears that were beginning to stream down his face "No..." Riley and Alex glanced at each other, trying to figure out what the hell Carson was talking about. They were shocked with the next words. "They're... g-gone."
