Carson was released after another two and a half weeks. After seeing his friends and boyfriend, he realized how much he's missed them and didn't want to worry them.

Rumors went around school, it wasn't a surprise. Carson was gone for a month almost and didn't text anyone.

Alex and Riley visited him twice, it helped Carson keep going with his process. He wanted to leave.

Even thought Carson missed the ending of the third quarter, he caught up quickly. He did a majority of assignments online at the hospital.

Even though he got a higher dosage for his pills, he had to go to therapy twice a week instead of once, and had almost daily wrist checks from the school consular... He was relieved to be home.

Everything was okay for a week or so.

Until a specific day rolled around that caused Carson's happiness to crash.

April 28th marked a year. A year since he lost everything, he witnessed one of the most tramatizing things, and his life turned completely upside-down.

A year since he last heard his sister's voices. A year since he's heard their laughs. A year since he's seen them.

Carson didn't go to school. He mentally couldn't do anything but stay in bed. He stayed up until 4am crying, school wasn't something on his mind.

So, he slept. All day. He didn't text people, he didn't eat, he didn't even leave his bed. He slept 12 hours, escaping the world around him.

Escaping the memories. Escaping the thoughts. Escaping everything that could make him potentially relapse.

When Carson woke up, he was met with a million missed calls and text. All worrying about him, making sure he was safe.

Me- sorry guys... I'm okay, I was asleep.

Riley:0 - All day?!

Me- yes.

Alex<3 - oh baby! I'm so glad ur okay!

Me- ig

Alex<3 - angel can u call me?

Me- uh sure, ig

Carson didn't want to talk to anyone. He's only talked to his dad and that was to ask if he could stay home. That's another reason why he slept so long.

"Hi, sweet angel!"

The perkiness in Alex's voice made Carson grumble. "Hi."

"Are you alright?"

Carson wrapped his arms around himself, wishing someone was there to hold. To comfort him. To just be there because no one else is.

The blonde finally replies. "No, not really..." Alex knew why, he knew what today was. "Can you come over? I want to hold you."

Alex was relieved Carson didn't want to shut him out. "Of course. Have you eaten today?"

"Al, I've slept all day. I haven't left my bed."

"I'll be there soon, baby."

The phone call ended.

Carson stares at the picture frame that he moved to his night table last night, admiring it. His thumb brushed over the faces, his chest ached.

"I miss you girls so much." Carson whispers, tears forming in his eyes. "Come back, please."

The blonde felt a presence in the room, he looked up. No one was there, obviously. He was imagining his sister's with him.
