String of light threaded through the air to stitch a patch of pale yellow on the floor, the two bodies sprawled across the bed in an unruly manner. Unruly manner as in Haechan's head on the pillow and Haneul's foot on his shoulder and her head at the very end of the bed.

It happens to the best of us

Haneul was the first to wake up as she stretched in unnecessary large motions and slid off the bed, not before planting a short kiss on Haechan's nape and waddling around to get her cardigan off the floor. Her eyes shot around his admirable room, and landed on a cabinet that was ever so slightly pulled out

Considering that his privacy shouldnt be the obstacle to stop her, she shrugged it aside after thinking through every time he had dug through her bag and slid it open. Her eyes were met with the most spontaneous things. 5 bus cards, a rock, several sticky notes, a pencil, it was quite the surprising array

It wasn't long till a pair of arms had snaked its way around her waist, a chin on top of her head.

"You found it" He chuckled, morning voice bringing shivers down her neck.

"So you really have been stalking me" She picked up the bus cards, precisely, her bus cards and spread it out on the desk

"No need to shuffle through it so thoroughly" He picked the cards back up and shoved it back into the cabinet. She laughed, looking at the stone "Isn't this your pastry? Didnt you eat it?"

"I had to save it for later" He joked straight back at her, remembering the rock she had put into his pastry bag instead of his actual pastries. Good times.

"Wow even my sticky notes. Go see a mental help centre for stalking" She shuffled through the cabinet to graze her hand over a leather case. Sliding it out of the cabinet with curiosity, Haechan abruptly snatched it out of her hand, placing it back into the cabinet and slamming it shut

She looked up at him in general shock.

"It's nothing, don't worry about it" He wheeled her the other way around

"What-"

"Renjun must be looking for you" Haechan blurted, grabbing her bag from the floor and basically kicking her out of his house.

"Call me" He put his hand to his ear and left Haneul standing at the entrance of his house. She scoffed, arms folded in disbelief "So he's just going to leave."

She watched him close the front door and open the big gates for her.

"Wow" She grabbed her bag and dragged herself out of Haechans house "What did I expect". Ultimately calling a taxi without another grunt held against Haechan, she arrived back home within no time. But as soon as she stepped into her apartment, something seemed off

"Renjun?" She called out, entering the oddly clean atmosphere. Utter silence. Knocking on his door, she received no response and pushed it open, the bed made and everything neatly placed where it was. His phone was left beside the nightstand and the curtains were drawn closed.
