Julia's POV

The girls and I had spent the day making cocktails and relaxing by the pool. It'd been an amazing day, the weather was gorgeous and I felt truly ecstatic.

My life had changed so drastically in the last few months and these girls had already become two of my closest friends.

I'd also been exchanging texts with Zach over the last few days. He was also staying in Sicily dealing with whatever work Reed had for him and I was kind of sad. It would've been nice for him to come and hang out with us, but he had to stay at the gang's house.

I could see myself becoming closer to Zach and he'd honestly already started to become one of my closest friends within the gang.

We'd been playing music loudly all day and I had to admit that I was a little tipsy.

I didn't usually drink but today I made an exception, I was on vacation with my friends, I was enjoying myself and I wanted to get Reed off my mind.

We'd even tried to convince a couple of the body guards to dance with us but they were too scared of their boss to leave their stances.

By 4pm I was on my 5th cocktail of the day and was larking around on the pool floats with Ivy while Kayla danced at the side of the pool. Our laughs echoed around the house and the music bounced off the hills nearby. Luckily we had no neighbours, so we could be as loud as we wanted.

Without me even noticing, I suddenly heard deep laughter from the doorway. I turned to see 3 of the boys watching us and obviously enjoying the sight. Ethan, Cyrus and Blade had obviously only just got home and were still in their leather jackets, which looked extremely hot for this weather.

"Looks like you've all had fun." Blade chuckled.

"Where's Trissss?" Kayla giggled, running over to the boys with a drink in hand and being caught by Ethan as she tripped over.

"Steady there Kay, she's just gone to get changed." he said, sitting her down on a pool chair.

"Here she is now." Blade said, putting his arm out and allowing Tris to pass him.

Her face remained serious as it always was and she looked gorgeous in a black bikini. I noticed that she had one full tattoo sleeve on her right side with a large beautiful pattern on her left thigh.

She smirked at Blade stiffly as she approached her girlfriend and placed her sunglasses on her face.

I couldn't help but wonder where Reed was but I knew that he was probably still stuck working somewhere. Sometimes I worried that he worked too much but it's what he lives for so I understand.

The boys suddenly left us alone once more to go and change into some more appropriate clothing and Ivy's attention had been completely gone ever since.

"You missed Bladeee didn't youu." I slurred whilst sipping on my paper straw.

"W-what? Of course not. Why would you say that?" she stuttered.

"You look at him like I look at...never mind, but you like him!"

"Okay, maybee." she giggled before falling off her pool float and into the cool water.

She suddenly swam under my float and pushed me into the water. We both laughed until we could barely breath and got out of the pool to dry off.

I hadn't had this much fun in such a long time.

"Canon ball!" Blade screamed, running outside and launching himself into the pool.

Cyrus and Ethan soon followed, jumping into the pool alongside him. They'd all obviously been looking forward to this vacation and I didn't blame them.
