Julia's POV

A week or so after I moved into the house, I was getting nicely settled in.

The house was huge and I'd spent a few days getting all of my belongings unpacked.

The house still looked pretty empty inside due to the very little that I actually owned, but it was still homey.

I'd been shopping a couple of times for home decor and furniture and it seemed to be coming along nicely.

Ivy and Blade had been checking in on me constantly and they both loved the house.

I wished that they could come and live with me to be honest, but obviously that wasn't an option. However, Ivy had been staying over most nights, so maybe she'd agree to it.

As I didn't have anything to do, I'd been spending a lot of time in the home gym. I'd gotten quite fit recently and I was proud of my progress although the house did get extremely lonely.

At Reed's I was used to being with at least one other person in the house when I was home, but here I had no one.

As much as I loved it, it was far too big just for me.

I couldn't wait to start work again at the bar, I really needed some type of social interaction but recently I'd actually been thinking about joining the gang officially.

I felt as though it was a part of my life now. Most of my friends were a part of the gang and I wanted to fight alongside them.

It'd give me a rush that I just hadn't felt anywhere else. Honestly, when Kayla and I fought those men at the bar, I felt exhilarated.

I obviously didn't enjoy harming those men, but I was quite good at fighting and I wanted to make the most of it. I wanted to train and become better, a real part of the gang.

However, I knew that Reed probably wouldn't let me. I'd have to convince him somehow...if I could ever bring myself to face him.

It'd been really strange over the past week without seeing him or even speaking to him, but I suppose that's how it was meant to be now.

Blade had told me that he'd turned back into his old self, but a worsened version.

He said that I'd obviously effected him, but he was the one who practically kicked me out of the house so I didn't believe it.

I had to admit that I did miss Reed, there was no doubt...but I'd get over it. I just wanted to convince him to let me join the gang.

And there's only one way to help convince him...so I booked an appointment at the tattoo parlour.

Blade's taking me to get the Red Viper tattoo on my arm. I want it in the same place as Reed and if that doesn't convince him, then nothing will.

"You ready newbie?" he asked as I got into the car.

"Yep, is it bad that I'm kind of excited?"

"Nah, you'll be absolutely fine." he laughed. "Have you got any other tattoos?"

"No, this is my first one. Does it hurt?"

"Maybe the first time, but I've got so many that I don't feel it anymore."

"Yeah, I guess that makes sense." I said nervously. "Where's your Red Viper?"

"It's on my chest. Where are you getting yours?"

"I want it on my right shoulder."

"Oh I see." he smirked.

Once Blade parked the car, I looked out of the window to see a rough looking tattoo parlour.
