~Paper Flowers~

Why hello there!
Dear Cousin, how have you been?
I hope you are faring well,
Not making too many messes, are you?
Oh come on, you know how you can be,
And don’t you deny it!
You would just be lying to yourself,
And you know that as well!

Ah, I’m just kidding, dear Cousin, don’t mind me.
Remember to water your flowers,
Last year’s heat took a toll on the paper-like blooms.
Your garden is beautiful, putting others to shame,
And I wish to see it again, along with you.

Wishing you all the best,
Your loving Cousin.

~end of part 1~

Hello! I hope you are having a nice day! Although this little bit of writing is short, it is going to be one of 5 that are all going to be connected. I wrote them at a quite ungodly hour I must say. Inspiration hath struck at thy WORST time! I have a habit of doing most of my thinking in the shower, which is unfortunate, because once I step out, I have so many things overloading my brain that I forget all the ideas I had! I am thinking of getting a notepad specifically for keeping outside the shower so I can write stuff down as it comes. ;D

Anyhow, with this poem, maybe you'll think about a cousin you haven't seen in a long time. Challenge yourself to give them a call once in a while, and reconnect! Or don't...it is in your hands! Whatever you do, I hope your day goes great. Stay safe!

Thanks for readin'!

Love, Stardusttoad
