Spooky scary skeletons
send shivers down your spine.
But do they really? Be honest now,
'cos I'm perfectly fine!

They're creepy and they're kooky,
mysterious and spooky,
But maybe we're the ones that're loopy,
They look pretty normal to me...

When there's somethin' strange in my neighborhood
who should I call?
Maybe the police, maybe the fire department,
if it's that weird, I'll need someone who'll get 'em good.

Apparently Frankenweenie is a dog who died.
The dog's owner didn't wanna part with him, and I understand why.
So the pooch is electrocuted into a monstrously cute form, as the story goes,
but I just don't see anything frightening in that, no need for woes.

Sir, what the heck is wrong with me?!
Is this some kinda weird disease? (COVID where you at)
Have I turned the age of no fear?
Was last Halloween my final, truly spooky year?

(...I've heard of time flying, but this is ridiculous!)

If I could only be startled at the slightest,
I swear I would be most delighted.
Alas, nothing seems to be working,
No darkness, no terrifics, no monsters lurking.

...Sigh....I thought writing a poem might help too...guess not.
What an average, so-so, standard Halloween night to forget.

Yipee, hurray!
I've finally gotten scared today!
Turns out spooky season ain't dyin' down for me yet,
so look out world and unsuspecting family,
for soon, you'll get a scare that you will never forget!

Mwah hah hah hah, MWAH HAH HA- *cough cough cough cough*

Hello everyone, and happy late Halloween! Spooky season has finished by now, but it's the thought that counts.

I hope everyone had a fun and safe October 31st, and that y'all are groovin' along alright. I can't believe it is already November, time seems to fly so fast! What do you think? Has the year gone quickly for you? Sometimes it feels really slow to me, but then it suddenly speeds up, and I'm like "huh"? ^v^

That's all I have for today, and I hope that you enjoyed this mess of a poem! It is kinda just a jumble of thoughts with a Halloween theme, and it's a little reminder that you're never too old for spoopy season! (anyone remember the spoopy meme lol) You've got this! Stay determined!
