"Satou Kazuma-san.."

I heard Eris-sama's voice.

"Eh? Did I die again?"

I asked her.

I probably died in my sleep.

"No, you aren't dead. Goddesses can visit your dreams anytime they want."

She wanted to get the subject out of the way as quickly as possible.

"Oh, so if I have dirty dreams, you can interrupt me from it?"

"Now is not the time to say stuff like that!"

I bow and apologize.

"So, what do you need? Did you find a way?"

She nods.

"Yup! The good news is that there is a weapon near the Crimson Demon Village. The bad news is that it is in the building where you almost died."

"Eh? I'm gonna die again am I?"

"N-No! It's a Divine Relic that we goddesses made if an enemy more powerful than the Demon King were to surface! And now is a good time to use it! It's only temporary and will be destroyed once used."

"What does this Divine Relic do? What does it look like?"

I asked.

"The Divine Relic is a shape of an arrow. It's a golden arrow that only chooses worthy people. You must stab yourself with the arrow and based on your luck, we think it would work on you."

Why does it always have to be me?

I am no main protagonist.

I'm a normal guy with useless party members that I have to deal with their problems all the time.

"I'll see what I can do. But should someone else use it. If it chooses worthy people, then it should be Aqua since she is a goddess."

"That is a 2nd option. Also, if it doesn't work, you die and can't be resurrected. That's how powerful they Divine Relic is."

More of the reason to not stab myself with a dangerous arrow.

"I'll just convince Aqua to stab herself. What does it even grant? If it's just more power, then why is it so cliche?"

Eris-sama disappears, leaving my question unanswered.

"Kazuma! Wake up!"

I heard Megumin's voice.

I slowly open my eyes and see her shaking my whole body.

"Hey! What the hell?! Did you try to make a move on me when I am sleeping? You will be branded as a perverted slut!"

I step back a few feet from her.

"N-No! I would never! You shouldn't be complaining since you didn't make a move on me when we slept together!"

"That's because you're a little girl. I don't wanna be lolicon for my entire life."

"Lolicon? I'm almost 15! When I'm 15, what are you going to do to me? Will you finally be a man and make a move on me?"

"Be more developed and find out."

Megumin and I strangled each other until Darkness had to stop the 2 of us.

"Megumin, if you wanna be more mature, don't act like a child even though Kazuma is."

I ignored Darkness and kept staring at her body.
