Finale Battle

"Dammit, my stamina is out of fuel. I used too much stamina on the fight with Metallica! Sh-Shit! I have to escape somewhere!"

I slowly crawled away from Metallica's corpse.

"Find Kazuma! He's near!"

I could hear my ex party member's voices.

I found a nearby frog that was just staying still.

I needed blood, and fast!

I grab the frog and bit the frog's belly, I drunk and squeezed all it's blood and threw it like it was trash.

"Dammit! I need more!"

I crawled a few minutes later into the Crimson Demon village and saw a nearby cabin.

"Mister?"

A little girl's voice called for me.

I turned around and saw a little Crimson Demon girl.

I ignored her and searched for more animal blood, there was no way I'm going to drink human blood.

Right?

"Drink the girl's blood, Kazuma. Your stamina will be maxed if you drink her blood. Do it!"

I resisted King Crimson's voice in my head.

"I need help, little girl. What is your name?"

"Me? My name is Komekko! You look familiar but you seem to have changed a lot. I can't recognize you but you seem important! I'll help you!"

The girl named Komekko drags me to her cabin.

Why does she look and sound so familiar?

Have I met this little girl before?

I was too exhausted to think.

"Mama! Papa! I brought an injured man! I think he needs medication!"

I hear Komekko calling for her parents.

"We don't have the money to support others!"

For some reason, they just pissed me off already.

I felt like someone was giving them money for free in order to help their party member's life.

"My parents seems to not like strangers! But I like strangers because one time, a stranger helped me and my older sister. My older sister said she liked the stranger a lot but I forgot!"

The little girl gives a pillow to me as I breathe heavily.

Sleeping makes me regain some of my stamina, I hope.

[ Megumin's POV ]

"I found Metallica's body!"

I alerted everyone.

There was a dozen bunch of holes in his chest, and a missing foot.

Did Kazuma really do this much damage and managed to escape?

"Where is Kazuma? He was way too injured to be moving at all."

Darkness asks me.

"I don't know! But it seems Kazuma probably infiltrated the village already!"

"Before we go, should I use Resurrection on this guy?"

Aqua asks Claire.

"No, he's too dangerous. I had intended for them both to kill each other and we would resurrect Kazuma. It seemed Metallica was winning, causing the most damage but Kazuma outsmarted him and won the battle. Kazuma is the first person to escape from Metallica, it seems."
