Volume 4 : A Party At Iris's Kingdom | Chapter 1 |

"It's Iris's birthday! We have to celebrate and accept her invite!"

I told my whole party with excitement.

I've never ever celebrate a birthday party, not even mine back at Japan.

"Princess Iris's birthday? We surely have to go, if the princess herself invited us, we must accept without hesitation."

Darkness was holding some excitement in herself.

Meanwhile...

"I can't wait to drink all their expensive alcohol! I wonder which one should I drink first! Maybe I should snatch from the kingdom just incase! Hehe!"

This useless goddess was already planning to get drunk and ruin the party.

"I wonder how many people will compliment my explosion! They might even give me magic support items since they are highly rich nobles!"

The explosion maniac was already drooling from her arrogance.

"We accept this invitation. But we need someone to teleport us to the kingdom since the distance from Axel and the kingdom is vast."

Darkness asks the butler.

"We have Wiz! Wiz can teleport us!"

I whispered into her ears.

"Good idea."

...

We decided to sleep in our mansion and teleport to the kingdom this morning.

"C'mon Kazuma, get ready! We are going to be late for the party!"

Aqua kept rushing me.

"Quit trying to rush me! Or else I'll tell Iris to forbid all the alcohol going into your nasty mouth of yours!"

"Waaahh! What a brute! Darkness, persuade Kazuma to hurry up!"

If there is any woman I had to obey now, it would be Darkness, or else she will kill me!

"Every second, Princess Iris awaits your presence. And every second you're late, she gets sadder bit by bit."

Darkness wore a beautiful white dress in front of me.

She obviously wore some makeup because that is what women do all the time.

"Are you surprised by my beauty?"

She smirks.

"Isn't your waist supposed to be more slim. I mean, you do have a lot of muscles so I can't blame you."

She looks down with sadness written all over her face.

"But you look beautiful to me."

Her expectations were met.

"You look pretty handsome too."

Her words stopped me from changing my clothes.

I've never been called handsome before.

Usually Aqua says it to make me give her more money and Megumin does it to tease me.

But Darkness is genuinely complimenting my looks.

"Thanks..."

I wore a black tuxedo with a red tie like I was a business man who owned a lot of fortune.

Darkness grabbed my hand after I was finished and pulled me outside the front yard of the mansion.

"What do you think, Kazuma?"
