YOU WOKE UP feeling better than you usually do. Most mornings you wake up even more exhausted then the night before. But today, you feel refreshed.

You sat up and smiled as the breeze from Oikawa's window blew through your hair.

You turned to face Iwaizumi who was still asleep. His eyelashes fluttered every other second but other than that he was completely still. You couldn't help but smile, remembering last night.

"Morning [Y/n]." Oikawa rasped.

Your eyes shifted to Oikawa who still looked completely asleep.

"Morning Tooru." You replied, quietly not wanting to wake Iwaizumi or fully awaken Oikawa.

"Did you sleep well?" He mumbled.

"Yup, thanks for asking." You smiled watching as his lips curled up slightly.

"Good, good." He yawned.

"Since I'm already up, I'm gonna go get ready and help your mom make breakfast. You sleep, you had a long day."

"Thanks [Y/n]-chan. Thank you." He mumbled incoherently, but you understood him. You laughed lightly getting up out of your "bed" of blankets.

About an hour later the boys woke up and you all are eating the tamagoyaki you had made with Oikawa's mom.

"You're a great cook [Y/n]." Iwaizumi said kindly.

"Awww thank you! But no need to flatter me it's just an omelette." You said rubbing the back of your neck.

"He's right [Y/n]-chan, It's really good!" Oikawa chirped.

"Thanks guys." You smiled brightly.

After all of you finished eating you cleared your throat. "Iwa, can I talk to you outside quickly?"

He had a general idea of what it was about and agreed quickly, "Yeah sure."

Oikawa raised an eyebrow in your direction and you gave him a thumbs up.

Without thinking, you lightly took Iwaizumi's hand and pulled him outside. You reluctantly let go of his hand, rocking back and forth on your heels.

"I just wanted to say thank you, for last night." You started quietly.

"You don't have to thank me. I didn't do anything special." He smiled awkwardly.

"I guess, but you told me what I feel like I've been subconsciously searching to hear. So thank you for that, really."

"You're welcome." He said staring softly at you.

You nodded quickly turning to go back into the house. But stopped when Iwaizumi lightly grabbed your wrist.

"And [Y/n]?" You looked up at his olive eyes. "I meant what I said. If you ever want to talk or just want someone to hear you out, you could always come to me."

You grinned up at him, grabbing his hand again and going inside. Letting go of it when you enter the living room.

There you find Oikawa watching volleyball on the tv and sat down to join him. 'Looks like he didn't see anything.'

Oikawa hummed to himself. What could you and Iwa-chan be talking about? He sighs leaning back on the sofa waiting for you two to come back.

But he couldn't help but get bored and walked over to the window. Sitting on the one person seat by it.

He couldn't hear anything but at least he could see. It's far more entertaining then sitting on the sofa in silence.

He watched as you seemed to talk seriously. He furrowed his eyebrows, was there a problem?

But he shook his head remembering the thumbs up you gave him. If there was one, you'd tell him.

He watched as Iwaizumi took your wrist in his hand and said something that made you both smile.

He smiled himself, he was happy to see his very best friends happy. When he saw you entering the house with Iwaizumi's hand in yours he realized that was his cue to go back to the sofa.

He rushed over to the living room, grabbing the stuffed alien you got him yesterday and plopping down on the couch.

He turned on the TV which was already on the volleyball station and tried to look ingested in the game. But before he knew it, he didn't have to pretend.

You and Iwaizumi walked through the door and joined him on the sofa.

Oikawa sighed a breath of relief. 'Looks like they didn't see anything.'
