RAIN ON ME

CHAPTER 5

We finally reach the venue and take off my seatbelt was about to open the door but Alex stops me
" Wait Leona!"

"What's wrong?"

" Well wouldn't be very gentlemen of me if I don't open the door for you" he says and I chuckle

"Okay Alex." I say and he gets off the car and opens the door for me and pulls out his hand in front of me. I smile and slid my hand in his and he holds it giving it a light squeeze.
I get off the car and look around as nervousness starts getting over me.....

Breathe ..calm down...

The last time I was here was with Noah, never since then I've attended it.

" Let's go" Alex says walking ahead and I tug his hand making him look at me

" What's wrong?" He asks and I bite my lip nervously.

He sighs and lifts his hand upto my lower lip gently removing it with his thumb.

" Don't do that... what's wrong Leona, are you nervous?" He asks me gently looking right into my eyes with concern and all I could do is nod

" You'll be fine...I'm here...do you want to wait here for a moment?" He asks
I take a deep breath

Go in! Come on face it...

" No...I'm fine...let's go" I say and he smiles and links arms with me and we go in.

I see a bunch of people walking around and talking.

Not that bad huh...

I spot Viv with Kabir talking to people
" Alex, Viv and Kabir" I say pointing at them and he nods before walking towards them.

" Vivi!" I say and she looks at me waving

" You guys are here" she says smiling and Alex returns her the smile

" Kabir you look like a human for once!!" I say hugging him and he chuckles

" Yeah and you look like a little ant" he says laughing and I smack him playfully

" Thankyou Alex." He says to Alex and Alex looks at him confused

" What for?"

" For convincing Leona to come here tonight" he says and Alex smiles in realisation

" Oh.. pleasures all mine" he says and Kabir smiles

" I'm going to crash the eating stall..." I say walking away

" Oh god this girl..." I hear Kabir mutter but I keep walking towards the food stall.

I go and see all kinds of dishes and mouth starts watering.

What the fuck??!! You telling me I missed this much free food all these years??!!!"

Damn...
I pick up the chicken wings and start eating them.

Oh boy...this is heaven...
I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around and freeze when I see him..

Noah

I wipe my mouth with a tissue and start to walk away from him but he grabs my wrist spining me around to face him
" Hey Le-"

" What do you want Noah?" I say sternly and he chuckles a bit

" Are you going to be like that Leo?" He calls me by nickname he used to call me back then making me wince.

" Don't call me that." I say and he nods
