A Y A M I

I opened my eyes. And yes, nakahiga na naman ako. Still having the dextrose and oxygen mask. And again, yes. Tinanggal ko na naman ito. I can't properly breath with the mask every time I wake up.

Bumangon ako sa kama, and went straight to the door.

Yes! It clicked. It's open!

Dahan-dahan akong lumabas sa kwarto at tama nga ako. Nasa hospital ako. Nurses, doctors, and patients are everywhere.

What the hell!

"Oh, you mean, tayong mga pasyente? Why? Ang bantay lang ba natin ang bibigyan nila ng pansin or what?"

Hindi ito sumagot and when I looked at her, she just shrugged. "My name's Cali, by the way." Biglang saad nito. "'Bout you?"

"I don't know." I said while I looked at those people busy roaming around in the hall.

I heard her chuckle kaya napatingin uli ako dito.

"You can look at the door of your room, you know."

Ni hindi paman ako nag-limang minuto sa harapan ng pintuan when Cali, the girl I've met, pushed ourselves in my room, closed the door and hushed me.

"Just don't."

"What was that?"

"I don't know. But they are definitely not human!"
