You walk through the dark woods, holding a large amount of wood in your arms.

"Ugh, I can't even see straight." You mutter. Suddenly, you crash into a figure, dropping all your acacia wood.

"O-Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry!" You exclaim, looking up, but you see nothing is there.

"W-What?" You think, picking up all your wood again. You dad would be mad if you didn't get back before dark. But the trees were so tall and thick, you didn't even know what time it was of day.

"I know I felt someone..." You mutter to yourself.

"And you're right." you heard someone say in an ominous voice.

Jumping, you drop all of your wood again and jerk around, holding up your hands in a karate position.

Still nothing.

You suddenly felt scared. You knew someone was watching you. Or trying to prank you.

"H-Hey, whoever's doing this, I-I know karate!!" You exclaim, earning a dark laugh from the shadows.

"Really? You amuse me." You hear.

"W-Where are you?!"

"Up in the trees, G."

You slowly look up and see a figure of a boy there. He looks to be about your age. His eyes are closed and he's eating an apple quietly. His left leg was dangling off the tall spruce tree.

He opens his eyes and you see they are glowing an off white. The boy jumps down and crosses his arms.

"You really gotta be more aware of your surroundings..." He says with a small huff.

You gawk at the boy, who takes another bite of the apple. He catches you staring. "Take a picture," He says. "It'll last longer." He wipes the juice from the apple from the sides of his mouth.

You blush. "I-I was not staring!" You scowl, putting down your wood and crossing you arms.

"I never said you were," He smirked and tossed you an apple.

You barely caught it with you hands. "T-Thanks..." You stuttered, looking up but you saw the boy wasn't there.

Suddenly, you felt something on your hand. Looking at the apple, you saw a name was carve into the side and the juice was leaking out.

Mitch...
