After Sophie had left the park, she went home and tried to think.

Why, why, why, did she tell Valin she was going with Fitz? She didn't even like Fitz!

She flopped into her bed with a large sigh.

Well, I guess I have to call Fitz and tell him I'm going to the prom with him.

It rang for a transcend before he answered.

"Hi Fitz. I've got great news." She cringed

" Uh huh. "

"I'm not working at the shelter in prom night!"

" Really that's great! "

"Yeah, it is."

For you. She said mentally.

"Well I'll see you then!"

He hung up.

"Wow, what have I gotten myself into?" Sophie wondered aloud.

She remembered that she was meeting with Dex and a coffee shop, so she got ready.

It was only a short walk away from her house so she was there in a short time.

"Hey Dex!" Sophie called waving.

He broke into a smile. "Hey Sophie."

They lined up to order; Dex got a macchiato, and Sophie got a frappuccino.

They found a seat, and sat down.

"You know we should hang out more." Dex said.

" Yeah. "

"Oh! I fixed your watch." He pulled it out of his pocket.

" Thank you! Hey, I works! " She laughed.

But for some reason, she felt that she should be at Keefe's house.

A nagging feeling kept persisting until she gave in.

"I'm sorry Dex, but I gotta go."

She stood up and rushed to Keefe's house.

She rang the doorbell and a somewhat tear stained Keefe met her.

She kinda expected him to have cried, but she didn't know why.

"What are you doing here?" He asked.

" I dunno. But I felt like you could use a friend. "

It turned out that Keefe wasn't really a stuck up selfish brat, he just acted that way, because that's how his father acted.

As Sophie was walking home she thought about it.

Poor Keefe.

He's so, sad. I wish I could help.

Awww. So sad. Poor ol' Keefe. Just gonna say it here, I'm going to camp, from today to Friday. So I can't update.
But anyways, bye sweeties.
