Chapter 19-Sophie

Sophie plopped down on the couch.

"Its a Saturday, so it's time to be lazy." She said to herself.

" Actually no, " Edaline called from the kitchen. "You're going Costco get me groceries."

Sophie groaned. "Fiiiiiiiine."

She went back up to her room, and changed into actual clothes.

She put on a navy blue shirt, and some jeans.

Sophie went through the front door, and put on her sneakers, and started walking.

"You forgot the credit card and list!" Edaline yelled.

Sophie turned around and got the credit card and list.

She hurried to the store.

As she walked in, she saw Fitz and Biana rushing out with streamers in their hands.

What in the world are they doing?

Sophie looked at the list.

2. Bread
3. Ice cream
4. Yogurt
5. Goldfish
6. Chips
7. Sour cream
8. Soda
9. Paper plates
10. Apples
11. Donuts
12. Peaches
13. Pretzels
14. Lettuce
15. Chocolate
16. Tomatoe sauce
17. Applesauce
18. Sunscreen
19. Cereal
20. Milk

Wow mom! That's a lot

First, she had to get bananas, so she went to the fruit section.

After at least an hour, she had everything.

She tried to hurry home, but all the groceries weighed her down, and she had to go slowly.

Once she caught sight of her house she sighed in relief.

"Hey, mom, since when do you get this many groceries? There was so-"

She was cut off my all of her friends jumping out from behind the couch. She screamed and dropped the bananas she was carrying.

Keefe laughed.

Sophie's jaw dropped. "I thought my party was going to be next week."

She smiled. "We changed it to today, so we could surprise you."

Sophie threw her arms around Edaline and hugged her. "Thanks mom."

Edaline hugged her back, then let go. "Now, go and have fun with your friends."

Sophie gave her another quick hug, then went over to her friends.

"Guys, thank you!"

"No problem. " Marella said.

"Its to bad that Fitz couldn't make it." Said Linh.

Sophie hid a smile. It was obvious that Linh had a crush on Fitz.

"What are we doing standing around?" Keefe said. "Let's party!!"

Grady turned on some music, so soon there was a nice beat going on.

They danced for awhile, until Keefe and Dex snuck off, and got will string.

"Keefe!" All the girls except Tam said. He had managed to get out of the spray zone in time.

Tam smiled devilishly. " I didn't get sprayed! "

That's when Dex snuck up behind him, and ambushed him with even more silly string.

"Spoke to soon!" Yelled Biana.

Everyone laughed.

"Sophie." Keefe called. " it's time for your surprise. "

"I have a surprise?" Sophie asked while walking over to him.

" Yup. " responded Keefe.

He put a blindfold around her face, she she couldn't see, and led her outside.

"Where am I going?"

What is going on?

Keefe stopped her, and took the blindfold off.

Sophie gasped when she saw.

There was a massive cake, three feel tall, standing on a picnic table, with big words that said: Happy Birthday Sophie!

She took a step closer, but then something happened.

Keefe flung a piece of cake at her.

Sophie stood frozen in shock, but then, she grabbed her own piece and threw it in his hair.

"No! Foster! Not my hair!"

Sophie grinned. "Oh, it's on."

Soon, everyone joined in. Sometimes, they would open their mouth, and try to get some cake in.

But, before they knew it, the sun was setting, and the party was over.

"Bye guys. See you on Monday." Sophie said as everyone left.

"Bye!" They said in unison.

Sophie closer the door, and spun around.

"May I have this last dance?" She asked Grady, playfully.

He chuckled. "It would be my pleasure." He said putting on a fake British accent.

They slow danced, celebrating her fifteenth birthday, until Sophie was too tired to continue.

"Goodnight kiddo." Grady said, kissing her forehead.

"Night Dad."

Awww. So cute with Grady and Sophie. I hope you guys liked this chapter. I kinda just made it up as I went. I knew I wanted her to have a party, but I have like zero clue how it was gonna happen. Well, this is that result.
