Angel enters the house and sees her mum staring at her
"Uhm,why are you staring at me like that mum?" Angel asks
"Nothing....is it a crime to stare at my daughter?" Mum smiles
"Uh,no I guess?! But it's weird!"
"Oh,so I'm weird right?" Her mum tries to say with a stern voice
"No mum,I just meant...."
Mum interrupts and laughs
"I'm just pulling your legs sweetie. So, tell me about your study session."
"There's really nothing to talk about mum!" Angel says and tries to walk away but her mum stops her
"Did I say you could go?"
"B....but...."
Mum interrupts
"No buts! You promised to tell me everything going on between you and Eric, remember?"
Angel's POV
Ugh!!! She remembered!!! Why did she have to??!
Mum interrupts
"Angel!!! Sweetie!!!" Mum yells
"Oh,sorry mum. What were you saying again?" Angel says in pretence
Jake rushes downstairs in a thud
"What are you two yabbing about now?"
"Oh,so I'm yabbing right?" Mum says with a stern voice
"Oh no mum,I meant to say what are my lovely sister and beautiful mum talking about? I wanna know too." Jake says in an attempt to back himself up and not get on his mum's nerves😅
Mum smiles "Sure you did."
"Ok mum, I'm tired now. I'm going to bed...." Angel says trying to avoid telling her mum what she wants to hear 😂
"Come back here!" Mum says with a stern voice
"But mum?! I'm really tired,and besides I can tell you tomorrow or another day."
Mum sighs "Fine! But I'm only letting you go now because you're having exams tomorrow."
Angel smiles "Thanks mum..." Angel rushes upstairs to her room
"Phew! That was close." Angel says to herself as she removes her heels
"Yeah!" Jake suddenly says as he walks into her room
"OMG Jake!!" Angel yells
Jake smiles "You really have to learn to lock your door."
"Well, even when I do you still find a way into my room. And I'm still wondering how."
Jake smirks "I told you,I did the ol jam and jiggle."
"What does that even mean?!"
Jake sighs "Don't you ever watch movies? When bad guys wanna break into a place but it's locked,they use the ol jam and jiggle."
"Oh,but who calls it that?" Angel laughs
"I do."
"Well it's dumb."
"You're dumb."
"Just get out!!"
"Sometimes I break the doorknob!!"
"Wait what?!"
"You heard me."
Angel stands up from her bed and goes to check her door to confirm if Jake was lying or not
"But,the doorknob is still here. And it looks perfect as always."
Jake laughs "Can't believe you fell for that. That proves you're dumb!"
Angel sighs "Why do you always have to get on my nerves?!"
