Chapter 13

‎بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيم

In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.

‎ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِىٓ أَنزَلَ عَلَىٰ عَبْدِهِ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ وَلَمْ يَجْعَل
‎لَّهُۥ عِوَجَا ۜ

‎قَيِّمًا لِّيُنذِرَ بَأْسًا شَدِيدًا مِّن لَّدُنْهُ وَيُبَشِّرَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٱلَّذِينَ يَعْمَلُونَ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ أَنَّ لَهُمْ أَجْرًا حَسَنًا

‎مَّٰكِثِينَ فِيهِ أَبَدًا

‎وَيُنذِرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوا۟ ٱتَّخَذَ ٱللَّهُ وَلَدًا

‎مَّا لَهُم بِهِۦ مِنْ عِلْمٍ وَلَا لِءَابَآئِهِمْ ۚ كَبُرَتْ كَلِمَةً تَخْرُجُ مِنْ أَفْوَٰهِهِمْ ۚ إِن يَقُولُونَ إِلَّا كَذِبًا

‎فَلَعَلَّكَ بَٰخِعٌ نَّفْسَكَ عَلَىٰٓ ءَاثَٰرِهِمْ إِن لَّمْ يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِهَٰذَا ٱلْحَدِيثِ أَسَفًا

‎إِنَّا جَعَلْنَا مَا عَلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ زِينَةً لَّهَا لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ أَيُّهُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا

‎وَإِنَّا لَجَٰعِلُونَ مَا عَلَيْهَا صَعِيدًا جُرُزًا

‎أَمْ حَسِبْتَ أَنَّ أَصْحَٰبَ ٱلْكَهْفِ وَٱلرَّقِيمِ كَانُوا۟ مِنْ ءَايَٰتِنَا عَجَبًا

‎إِذْ أَوَى ٱلْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى ٱلْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا۟ رَبَّنَآ ءَاتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا

Assalaamu alaikum🧕🏾

I had started getting over the whole marriage thing. I decided If I couldn't change it then i just had to accept it and i did. I accepted and prayed to Allah to guide me and make it easy for me.

'Verily, Allah does not burden a soul with more than it can bear.' Worrying was just dumb, worry was a side effect of failure and despair. I wasn't hopeless but I wasn't hopeful either. I didn't expect for us to just magically end up in love with a fairytale happily ever after but maybe it wouldn't be that bad. Maybe we could just tolerate each other or some day even be friends.

I went to mommy's room to get the gown i was going to wear for the evening. The groom was coming over today. He had travelled earlier and now his father wanted us to meet. Not that it would change anything.

With a genuine smile on my face, i went to my room and changed into the outfit then applied my usual make up. I told mommy she over did it last time and i over dressed so this time she went shopping with umma and they got something simpler.
