EUNNA’s POV
“Will you be my girlfriend?”
I am actually expecting this question ever since he whispered to me earlier. Habang nililigawan niya ako, I admit napapakilig niya ako sa mga efforts niya but I still don’t know if I’m ready for commitment but I guess I will know if I try.
“Lewy, I barely know you” I saw his face saddened.
“But I will make sure to know you more during our relationship.” Pagpapatuloy ko.
“Is that a yes?” Paninigurado niya.
“Duh. Obviously.” I genuinely smiled at him.
“YES! EUNNA IS NOW MY GIRLFRIEND” sigaw niya. While looking at him biglang may naalala akong panaginip ko.
‘It’s Lewy, he is shouting again at me. I answered him back and walked out.’
Dahil sa naalala kong panaginip, now I’m having second thoughts. Tama bang sinagot ko siya. Did I just let myself go into a toxic relationship?
“I promise to be with you especially in our worst times and I will help you during our ups and downs.” Sabi niya.
“Thank you.”
“I love you, Eunna Andrada.”
“I know.”
Nagulat ako nang bigla niya akong yakapin but I hugged him back. We stayed like that for a while but I broke the hug after a couple of minutes.
“Why?” Tanong ni Lewy.
“I’m starving.” I laughed.
“Eunna, wala nang bawian ah?” Nakangiting tanong ni Lewy sakin.
“Of course” Of course wala na…
“Wait, alam ba nila Yera na dito tayo magdi-dinner without them?”
“Yup, sinabi ko sakanya lahat bago ako umalis. Let’s eat?”
“Sure."
