I grabbed all my stuff and shoved it in the backpack. There was spare clothes, toothpaste, medicine and food with some knives too. I couldn't own a gun here but I managed to find the place where they was kept. I tip toed towards the room and pointed the torch to the gun box. I saw snipers and machine guns, but I took the black pistol.
I walked back out and quickly tip toed towards the back door. I opened it as quiet as possible only to see Dwight standing on guard.
"Shit." I whispered to myself thinking of a plan.

I thought if I was quiet enough to take a step outside and shut the door quietly, I'll be able to leave, But it was a huge risk. I done as I thought but I ended up standing on a rock which made enough noise to attract Dwights attention.
" Luna?" Dwight whispered heading my direction with a gun in his hands.
" What are you doing?" He new what was going to happen. He saw how depressed I was in there. He waited for my response so I sighed rubbing my forehead.

" Don't tell anyone... please" I begged looking at Dwight in his eyes.
" You're leaving?" He muttered widening his eyes at me. " You can't just leave, Negan will find out."
I shook my head facing the floor.
" Well I know but I don't want him to know that anyone knows I've left or..." I couldn't finish but I guessed he new what i was going to say.

" Or I'll die.." He suggested taking a breath.
He took a step forward and moved his gun on his back so he can give me a hug. " I know I'm close to Negan but I've been at your position before. I've left but I got caught... lucky for you because I'm letting you." He whispered still hugging me.

I got out of the hug and smiled at him.
" Thank you Dwight." I whispered walking away only to remember something. I turned to Dwight who was still standing there looking at me sadly.
" Make sure you tell Noah that I love him. Tell him that I'll be okay... that he doesn't need to come out looking for me because I chose to leave." I smiled sadly fighting back the tears.

He nodded in return for my favour as I walked away climbing over the gate. I took one look at Dwight before I ran for my life.

I was finally free. Free from Negan himself. As much as we talked and had a laugh together, he wasn't who I thought he was deep inside. I thought I could reach him. Reach his real self. Others probably thought that too. But I guess since I've left that place that I have nothing to worry about now.

There is no turning back now.
