"yeah, right, the girl who you put fart bombs in her blazer pockets totally loves you." hyunjin scoffed at his ridiculous statement and shoved him out of his personal bubble.
Being Jisung's only friend meant he heard all the details of the argument, whether he wanted to or not.
"I remember that day," he grinned from thinking about that sweet memory. "I know a guy who can get you some,"
hyunjin remained silent. He could tell he wasn't finished with his sentence.
"You're right, I am the guy. Nothing beats homemade fart bombs." he leaned back in his chair.
"how about a homemade bath bomb? You should try them more often." he side-eyed him while holding his nose.
"Haha, you're so funny."
"and so was the fart attack on Haru," he replied sarcastically with a shrug. "as much as you hate her, she doesn't deserve it."
jisung straightened his posture, feeling betrayed that his own best friend was siding with his mortal enemy. how could he!
he understood why everyone else would side with her. To everyone, Choi Haru was the golden girl, a friendly girl beloved by everyone for her loveable natural beauty, easygoing nature and hard-working discipline. the second brightest student in the country's most distinguished science institutions. Second to him, of course.
"hey, she totally deserved that. Everyone thinks she is perfect, but no one knows her real self. spoilt. rude. stubborn. Miss brat." Each word was laced with petty hatred. "She never lets go of that stupid name she made just to annoy me."
"come on, It wasn't that stupid."
"I was hamji for a straight year! That takes a toll on a man's dignity." he exclaimed.
"if you even have any." hyunjin mumbled before speaking up. "i mean, you do call her Miss Brat."
"yeah, because she is. everyone is licking her goddamn ass just because of her 'perfect image' they fall for. That kind of treatment goes straight to her head. and those two goons do anything she says like she's some leader." he rambled furiously.
"or... maybe people just like her because she's a nice person, and you have a grudge against her over a nickname." he whispered to himself, rolling his eyes. his best friend had a knack for exaggerating.
jisung frowned at his best friend, who feigned innocence. "you forget I got superpowers. I can hear you."
"Good, that was the point."
He sighed. By this point, he was used to being insulted by hyunjin. If anything, his job was always to humble him rather than encouragement.
the pretty boy spoke his point carefully, pushing his wavy long hair back. "I'm just saying, whenever this rivalry between the two of you even started, just give it a break." he reasoned. "Do you not remember how we started out? now that was a hot mess."
