I IMMEDIATELY got out of my car. I was called up for an emergency meeting, I have no idea on what it is I just came running.

I even forgot to grab myself a cup of coffee! I've been awake since last night, I didn't get enough sleep no, I didn't sleep. I've been staring at my phone all night, debating whether I'll call him or not.

"Attorney!"

He nodded and handed a cup of coffee. "Your secretary is the one who called me."

"You look like you didn't get enough sleep either."

He smiled so sweetly. "I just waited for something."

My body stiffed.

"Let's go?" He smiled and dragged me along with him.

"The elevator is closing."

"Have you talked to your father?" Tanong niya sa'kin.

I shrugged. "Yes?"

"You should visit him so—"

"What happened?" Tanong ko.

"I think, we stopped." Saad ni Dev.

Kunot noo ko siyang hinarap. "What? This isn't our floor. Try opening the doors."

"I'm doing it already."

I sighed.

Really?

I saw Dev pushed the emergency button.

"Hello? Is anybody there listening? This is Attorney Selvantes, I'm trapped in the elevator B-1 with Attorney Miranda. Dispatch help and get us out of here." He calmly said.

The other line was quiet until, "yes? Attorney, we received your call our security and rescue are on their way. Please hang in there."

"How long do you thing until they can get us out of here?" Tanong ni Dev.

"One hour maxed, Attorney. We will do everything we can."

"Can you call Iñigo and tell him were stuck here?"

I shook my head. "I can't."

"Why? I think our signal is secured here, we can call someone."

I faced him and looked at his eyes. "I don't have a load."
