MONTHS passed like a lightning. I took the exam and magically passed. I'm now back to normal, I started working, living a normal life.

"Attorney? Nag-release na po ang court ng date for trial sa case ng Daddy niyo." Bungad sa'kin ni Iñigo.

"Really? When?" I calmly asked while walking.

Iñigo walked beside me. Nasa labas pa lang kami ng building namin.

'Yung pre-trial ay sa'min pumabor kaya malaki ang kumpyansya ko na sana maipanalo ko ang kaso.

"April 23 po, Attorney."

I smiled and nodded. "Thank you."

Christmas passes, before christmas we held a small celebration for my co-workers in the firm, nag-celebrate ng christmas and new years eve with Mancini and Berlusconi.

December 30, Dev's birthday. I just sent a gift to him exchange on what he gave to me. Of course, I give him one of the tie in my collection.

After the reading the letter something inside me just burst and it made my everyday more relaxed and peaceful.

It muster up my courage... I'm going to confess.

"Good morning, Attorney!"

Ngumiti ako sa kanila at inabot 'yung breakfast na dala ko. "Morning."

Pagkatapos no'n pumasok na ko sa opisina ko at nagsimula na ulit ako'ng magtrabaho.

My temporary disbarment is dismissed, while Prosecutor Jazz is still under investigation.

"Attorney, 'yung mga on-processed case inilagay ko na sa table mo." Saad ni Iñigo

Tumango ako at dumiretsyo sa table ko. Mga iilang case file iyon, sobrang kakapal.

"Criminal cases lahat 'to?" I asked.

"Actually, Attorney. May naligaw po na isa."

Napataas ang isang kilay ko. "Hmm? Ano 'yun?" Tanong ko tsaka umupo.

Isa-isa ko'ng chineck 'yung case file sa table ko. "Embezzlement po, Attorney."

Nagtataka kong hinanap 'yung case file. "Hindi lang siya basta-bastang Embezzlement." Tanging na-usal ko.

"Embezzlement and murder."

I just shrugged and set aside the case file. "Ako ba lead Attorney ng case na 'yun?" Tanong ko kay Iñigo

"Actually, Attorney. Lima kayong binigyan ng copy nung case file."

My mouth formed a little 'o'

"So, it's okay lang na set aside natin 'yun." Saad ko at hinarap si Iñigo. "My schedule for today?"

Binuhay ko na 'yung computer ko para magsimula nang kumuha at magbasa ng mga presiding cases.

Iñigo nodded and looked at his phone. "Cancel po lahat ng afternoon appointments niyo, Attorney."

Nagtataka ako'ng napatingin sa kaniya. "Why? What happened?" I asked.

Hindi ko naman pina-cancel 'yun.

"Pina-cancel po ni Sir Mancini."

Ngumiti ako sa kaniya. "Okay, thank you. Paki-check 'yung sa mga PDF files natin 'tas pa-update na lang din ako. Give me 10 copies of this." Saad ko tsaka ko inabot 'yung mga papers na nakuha ko.

"Yes po, Attorney."

Tinanguan ko siya, pagkalabas na pagkalabas niya ng opisina ko tinawagan ko agad si Mancini.
