She sighed for who knows how many by now as her empty cobalt blue eyes remained still on the private airplane's window without even muttering a word out ever since they board, watching the gray colored clouds pour light rainfall every now and then which caused Shuichi to worriedly glance at her from his seat.
They're nearly on their destination by now but instead of feeling relieved by that fact, the both of them felt more and more suffocated by the second as if already knowing hard it will be for them to face the people they came in London for.
Just how are you supposed to stand right before the parents of the person you are to blame to be dead?
After the plane landed, Sumire and Shuichi immediately head towards the nearest hotel to the venue the Huntford family will be holding a business party. One that they know the organization would be attending to attempt to get the Huntford family as investment provider.
They both quickly changed their attires into formal wear that the brunette carefully picked; Shuichi having his hair neatly slicked up as he wore a black dress shirt under a black coat with a deep red tie while Sumire on the other hand, wore a fitted black dress that have a hole above the breast part, showing her some of her collarbone with a chain as a belt with both of them having a pair of black stylish gloves to not leave any fingerprints.

"Irene..." A man dressed formally in his mid-fifties muttered as his secretary lead both Sumire and Shuichi towards him and his wife. When his wife saw the brunette that she just know as a simple writer at a small publishing company some years ago, she immediately storm towards her and slap her in the face which caused everyone around them to stop for a second to take in what just happened but Sumire remain stoic as she stared on the floor in shame.
"How dare you show your face to us after what you did to our son?!" Mrs. Huntford exclaimed, expressing her anger full-heartedly as she slap her across the face once again. Shuichi moved to stop the half-Japanese from hitting his partner any longer, only to be stopped when Sumire blocked him by raising her arm.
"Listen..." Sumire pleadingly said, hanging her head low.
"What should we listen to you for?!" Mrs. Huntford yelled as she tried to escape from her husband's hold to prevent her from hurting the former 'fiance' of their son.
"It wasn't supposed to last this long, I'm sorry." The brunette admitted as she properly faced the high-end couple, a determined expression lingers on her features.
"What are you talking about, Irene?" Mr. Huntford calmly asked as he stared at the brunette, who is now looking straight into them as if devoid of any more emotions.
"He's alive. Kai is currently under the Witness Protection." Shuichi answered for Sumire.
"What are you saying?" The business man asked.
"My real name isn't Irene Altamont. It's Sumire Kudo... I'm an agent from the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Same with Akai Shuichi who acted as my older brother back then." Sumire stated as she bowed down in both greeting and shame.
"This is the documents that would fully explain what happened eight years ago. If you're curious about Kai, this is his number and current address but you must only contact him in secret until we manage to capture those to blame." Shuichi stated as he hand over a stack of papers to the father of Sumire's subordinate.
"And please let us escort you tonight. The organization that caused Kai to be in the Witness Protection is here tonight because of his connection to you and the fact that your family is one of the richest in the world right now could mean more danger. Please let us do this atleast for Kai." Sumire professionally stated, avoiding any sense of familiarity to appear in her words as much as she can.
