"Sumi-chan, is that you?" A certain raven haired guy through Sumire's open car window, confusing the brunette as she couldn't recall the person infront of her at the moment.
"...Sorry but do I know you?" The FBI agent asked, sighing as she suddenly felt another wave of headache coming. She glanced up at the guy, the smile plastered on his face being somewhat familiar to her as if she've seen it multiple times in the past.
"Is that how you greet your bestfriend after you just moved away right after our highschool graduation ceremony was over?" The man grinned as he stared at Sumire's stoic yet calm looking expression changed into a slightly shocked one as if happy to see her after such a long time.
"...Hiro-kun? You look different." Sumire stated, not acknowledging her former bestfriend's previous statement as she knew she doesn't have a reply for that in the first place.
"It's been ten years, what do you expect?" Hiroyoshi sarcastically questioned before laughing out loud at the actress' glare directed right at him. Sumire sighed after replying back to the now married man in annoyance.
"A decent man who wouldn't smile as wide as you for like the whole time we're talking even when I didn't recognize you at first? In the middle of a red stop light no less." She stated before sending him an obvious fake smile as if to imitate the stupid grin he's been doing.
"You're still mean."
"What in the world are you doing?" Sumire questioned as Hiroyoshi entered her car just before the lights turned green.
"I wanna catch up with you. I was planning to talk to you in the wedding but you just sent a card weeks before the actual event." He replied, not noticing the smale bittersweet smile that made its way in the actress' face for a mere second.
"Let's grab a bite at the cafe I heard about when I sent you the invitation." He stated, having the female already guess the place in her mind before they started babbling nonsense just like the old days.
"You're a decent driver now. Back then, it feels that I'm gonna throw up after whenever you drive."
"Get out."
"C'mon, don't be mean."
"Shut your mouth then or else I'm going to intentionally drive into something."
"Geez, chill. It's always like this with you but wow, you clearly upgraded the rudeness by like ten times."
"Mind telling me the way to that cafe, you're talking about before I drive us off into the water?"
"Good day, Sumire-san. Ah, you brought someone with you. Welcome to Cafe Poirot." Azusa greeted as the pair entered the care, not noticing how the name she uttered out caught her co-worker's attention.
"What do you two want?"
"Black coffee and your special today."
"I'll get iced americano and a slice of strawberry cheesecake."
"And seriously, Sumi-chan... Black coffee? You've consuming that bitter liquid ever since we're in highschool."
"You know Sumi-chan... This really brings back a lot of memories back when we're in highschool. I'm helping out with Otou-san's work while you'll be out there helping the police as a highschool detective or maybe even training Tessenjutsu under Hattori-san then at the end of the day, you'll suddenly call and we would be out in some cafe to take our mind off things. I miss those days."
"Sumire... I've always wondered how you would look like in a wedding dress." Hiroyoshi held back a bittersweet smile as he remembered all the times he would try to confess to the lady infront of him now back in highschool, only for it to be ruined everytime by some random things.
